I am someone who really enjoys the rare treasure grind in BDO. I find it to be one of the most appealing aspects of the game. I have both infinite pots, the map, and compass. I am currently grinding out a second set of them. I wish they would add more rare treasures to the game.

I will not be grinding for the merchant ring - and only because of the Olun's piece.

I enjoy playing the game when I want. I enjoy being able to character swap and stop playing the game when I want. I play BDO because it respects my autonomy to play when I want.

And party zones take that away from me. Sure, I'll grind an hour or two with a group every now and again to spice things up. But to lock my progression towards a goal behind a party zone FORCES me to go through a group, and that is not fun for me.

I already felt strongly about this with the first flame grind at Turos, but that was somewhat excusable since you could buy one on the market (even though it took them way to long to increase the market cap, and probably still needs to go higher).

And no, soloing Oluns is not a "solution" to this problem.

100% agree, i play bdo cuz i can solo everything.

whenever I need other ppl for anything or see other ppl at all on the map while grinding, I hate it.

Yeah they totally should move the oluns ring price to somewhere else or atleast add alternative.

I'm not a big fan of treasures in this game, since it's just pure luck whether you get them, but I do hate it whenever I'm forced to do anything in groups instead of being able to do it solo. I don't mind if it's possible to do something in a group, but I hate when it's required.

I echo the sentiment, I'm all for party content as a whole. But locking rare drops of any kind behind party spots it's very detrimental to the game, imo. Treasures or otherwise. 

I would love to see more support and incentives for party zones but of course, there should always be alternatives for solo players or on days where you just don't want to do anything with other people. Personally, I have never found a treasure piece despite dozens of hours grinding in those places. My disappointment is immeasurable :P
