KEKW to comparing BDO, an endless grind MMORPG, to Metro Exodus, of all games.

PEN Blackstar is the absolute Best in Slot item.  Meaning, there are NO BETTER ITEMS that go into these weapon slots (barring off-hand if one uses a DR build).  You need to realize what that statement means in the context of BDO.  Otherwise, there's literally no way the discussion can move forward.  It's like you're wanting a brand new, 0 miles, right off the lot BMW i4 M50 while refusing to go to school and landing a big boi job.  Literally how you guys sound right now. 

Put in the work required if you want the absolute BEST ITEMS plain and simple.  Gear is designed to stay relevant for a very long time and the grind is designed to be "endless", like, hello?  No one is going to hand you anything in this game, neither it should.  You earn it yourself, and that's what separates the lazy from the determined.  Both in-game and IRL.  Like I said, your gear reflects what you put into it, likewise, in many cases, it could also apply to IRL.  So, excuse me for bringing up IRL, but I can't imagine neither of you being well off in that department as well if your in-game attitudes are any reflection!  Being said, players don't even need PEN Blackstar to progress / enjoy / succeed in this game -- in both PvE and PvP.

I have 710 GS with a Kzarka and Dande.  I can grind any spot in the game, participate in T4 node wars, can compete in RBF, hold my own in open world Arsha fights, and add to my guild's war score in GvG.  Keep in mind, I work 6 days a week, play about 2-3 hours active on workdays (if I'm lucky), and about 3-5 hours on Sundays (my gaming day), and play other games.  I don't whale in this game, zero costumes to Crons, zero costumes to silver, occasional Artisan Memories when they're on sale, but it's minimal. 

How can I manage to do this while holding an employment job, do real estate on the side, pay my home, phone, and car bills, workout everyday, have a significant other, and literally have a life if I had to "grind non-stop as an alien" like you said?  You guys are delusional.

Too bad you've been so much alienated that you don't even know what time feels like.

You've said it yourself that you need 200 hours for a PEN blackstar.

So Main / Awakening / Sub blackstar will take you 600 hours of grinding according to YOUR statement.

That's 25 days of non stop grinding.

Well you need x4 armors, x6 accessories, x2 garmoth hearts, x1 vells heart, lightstones and all the other crap that i've mentioned in one of my previous posts in another thread that got deleted or something.

How many hours you have to sit in front of your monitor in order to get every single top tier item in the game?

Like you said BDO is an "endless" grind MMO game, so that means you have to be braindead in order to grind AD Infinitum.

I was away from the forums for sometime, but o boy you people are giving me a lot of laughs.

1)  Patience.  2) Consistency.  3) Setting clear, realistic, and incremental goals with a good plan.

That's how you progress in BDO.  But getting RNG carried from time to time doesn't hurt ;)

"Alienated" you say?  Grind ad inifintum?  Lol.  If thinking that about me helps you sleep at night, then do you.  But you're wrong on so many levels.  The benefit that I have over you and new players is time -- I've been consistently playing since around 2016/17, according to the timeframe I stated a couple posts up. So, added up, yep it's a lot of time.  But it's more about consistency than rabid video game binging like you're talking about.  There's been so many new things to boost new players, but this fact about BDO remains since day 1 = No Item for the Lazy :) they even made a in-game title that says this!  Lol.

The benefit that I have over you and new players is time -- I've been here a while, have been pretty consistent, and have found a gameplay loop that works. 

You can sit there and complain while I gain, it's fine with me.  I am pretty happy with life ATM.  And in BDO, it's not so bad either :)

EDIT:  My next big gear goal is 2x PEN Disto.  That's ~300 mil.  If I make 2 bil per day, that's ~5 months.  Seems killer.  But it's for BiS.  Least the game keeps me grinding, it's a nice respite after the day is done and helps me relax.  To each their own.  Full PEN Blackstar being 600 hours of grind is also killer, but it's 1) Not necessary, and 2) Absolute Best in Slot.  BiS in BDO isn't easy to get, neither should it be.

Literally everything requires time/resource investment(be it in BDO or any other game or the RL). That argument is easily defeated. Do not expect anything to fall out of the sky as granted just like that like the other guy there.

I don't like the enhancing myself either, but it's just a plain dumb idea to expect it to change. Instead... Do something to prevent regression in order to reach a higher place on the ladder. There are not one, but three ways I can think of, if I do not involve any p2w method. Test of intelligence, if you can name them.

We all aim at the best equipment, but the difference is that we appreciate the road. I'd even say that, if I had reached such a stuff, I would probably leave soon after.

We make reasonable objectives, we get them, we're happy, we go the the next objective. I don't know about PeaceInChaos, but I personnaly also get sidetracked : I sometimes decide to make some "useless" things (I even made a Forest Path Wagon, see what I mean? ^^ ), I engage in conflicts, I win, I lose. But I'm playing, at the purest sense of the word. I'm like a kid.

All in all, with a full time job, a wife, 2 kids, 3 cats and some other animals ( XD ), a social life, some other passions, I'm still near 680 GS. And I'm lazy. But patient. If I was less lazy, I'd probably be at the same step than Peace.

So, tell me : who is having fun here, and who is not?

Kinda funny how on the internet(in every game) every player is a parent of 3+ kids, have 2wifes, multiple real estates, cars, have two jobs, where they work atleast 10h every day including weekends, workout every day, barely have time for the game (where he is highend geared btw), but noone ever use any P2W.

Meanwhile the given company makes a fortune on convenience(not P2W) items, I wonder who even buys them kek

Like I said the real subconscious whine is not enhancing it's the entitled millennial cancer complaining what you want and deserve. You decided what you deserve and after 200 hours you expect bis at which time your complaint changes to " I am bored have nothing to do or any goals new content when!"

to give it context this is an mmo there is no end to the game you don't beat it you play it for years. You expect the bis three weapons in 200 hours for an average gamer who plays 3 hours a night which is 20 hours a week that would be ten weeks so in 2.5 months you are done and now saying "nothing to do already got bis gg dead game no content". Let's say you are an really casual gamer at 10 hours a week in 5 months you have bis all 3 weapons... now insert avid and hardcore gamers who play 40-60 hours a week. Okay now understand it's toxic af to play a game 10-20 hours a week and demand the entire end game be designed around your minimal playtime.

btw for reference I fall into the 10 hours or less a week of bdo playtime.

It can be done, even with a real life. If you can't, that's on you buddy. Game's proving you all wrong anyway, all the fallacies like "you can't progress because rng is everywhere" simply vanish if you decide to play BDO more than 10 hours.
