So I've got a problem.
Decided to reroll a Lahn to see what how it played and levelled up my taunt skill, Stately dignity. It's on Q, and for the life of me, I can not make it work. It literally doesn't launch the skill. I've used it on default binds, on rebinds (keys and mouse), changed keyboards via Windows (UK keyboard then US keyboard), then changed keyboards (the hardware, not the software. The Q key works on every KBoard btw), the skill is leveled up and I've got both main/secondary weapons equipped.
What the hell is going on? Is it a known bug, is there a work around?
Sidenote: while doing the main quest, I don't remember the Phantom knight hurting that hard the other times I did it.
EDIT: Ok, found the problem. For some reason I need to use directional keys + Q. WASD + Q works, but standing still and just pressing Q doesn't. Baffling. But whatever, there is a workaround I guess.

Hi there, that is quite an interesting problem. Personally, the skill works as intended, so it does seem like a bug.
While I have not yet seen this exact error, I will suggest you some steps that have helped with similar issues.
- Test if the issue also happens on other characters. If not, it likely is a bug indeed
- Check if your keybinds are assigned correctly. In this case, check for the keybind for Q in the settings menu (You can find it by pressing ESC)
- Check that the skill is unlocked
- Make sure you have a subweapon equipped
- Reset your entire skill tree, then re-learn the skills manually. Do not use a skill preset. Sometimes these presets get bugged out and errors like this happen
- Delete your cache folder. You can use the in game function, and then also delete the Cache folder you can find in your "documents" folder
- Repair the game files. Do this by clicking "scan files" in the game launcher
I hope this helps resolve the issue. Otherwise, you may need to send a bug report via ticket in order to get it fixed.
