Also are you assuming the idenity called "Pearl Abyss", gender. Companies don't have genders.

Listen up to be real Pearl Abyss messes up all the time when they introduce new things without adjusting old ones.

There are several cases..

1. Naverrne steppe: ascension rare drop for mythical feather is on same rare loot table as valtarra pity pieces-> pity pieces replaced by mythical items on grind > twice as long for 100 pity..  no balance adjustments..

2. Guaranteed pen quests: basically destroyed lifeskills gear market because the base prices of the lifeskill gear didn't increase with the cost of shards accordingly, this is especially true on console where shards cost 6 mil each. 

3. Silver keys: added new gathering loot but didn't adjust other use of keys accordingly.

4. Change to DR meta: screwed over almost all the players with Leeburs and muskans besides a few classes. 

5. Rifts: when they first came out the loot was decent nw it's not worth the time, never adjusted to match the games current state [added] I can get more memory fragments from the challenge rewards than all the rifts combined..

6. Shai: I need not say more.

You see this is a small sample, but the makers of the game we play rarely makes the right adjustments. And considering costume prices and the assumptions that lifeskills players won't grind, it's a way for them to coerse ppl to sell costumes (who hate grinding)

Just saying these days it's hard to tell if some of these issues are intentionally done to drive pearl shop revenues or if they are legitimate oversights. 

Not saying youre wrong, but is there any proof for that? That would be quite interesting to me.

I can take a SS but when I finish mana pot I had 80 pity and 122 feather drops.

Before they add mythical I could get 2-3 per hour pity.

Afterwards I would usually get 2 feather items 1 pity unless hedgehog got lucky.

So from my direct experience yes. 

most people hated the fact we had a mythical feather locked behind the horse races

the mats for carror confit  arent that hard  most come from vender   worker node for cinnamon  and all u really gotta gather is blue carrots which arent that bad   OR u can do the krog origin stone which isnt too hard to make

thats why i did my powder gathering at agris steppe  mobs are easier to kill and i can chill with full mastery gear

sure its more travel time from OWT to westernguard camp area but i tend to save in the fact i dont need gear to kill the chocobos  nor lowered mastery  and IF what u say is true  i get more powder overall so quest is faster   its an all out win

Oh the usual whiners complaining they might have to earn something instead of benefit off others work by short cutting and buying from auction house.
