Fixing the crafting and housing market one step at a time (Here's a good place to start)

There are two problems which can be tackled together pretty easily while also boosting sales with real money.

First, the housing system is borked. What I mean by that is we are required to use Contribution points for housing. The reason why this is an issue is because we have to pick between having a house to leisurely enjoy or spending those CP on money making things. The choice is obvious and unfortunately that means there's no purpose to housing unless you truly, genuinely want that house for roleplaying. You should have a house for crafting regardless but not everyone wants to do lifeskilling and that's understandable. But besides having a singular house for crafting, having anything more is a waste of CP.

This discourages players from buying pearl housing items.

If we could have houses free of charge or paid using silver (not rentals) then players would gladly get many houses and decorate them. Want a cabin in Behr? Now you can have one without feeling bad that you wasted CP. It can have a fun element to unlock more house expansions as well. Players could go on quests and get notority in each district to be granted permission to own a house or many houses in said place. There could be limitations on how many houses you could own in total but it should at least be 1 house per available town. A proper solution to existing houses to be converted over would have to be implemented though. Perhaps existing houses would have their CP returned to the player or something. The ball is in the court is all I'm saying.

Fixing the crafting market....

Right now if you want to sell cushions you are better off just selling the base materials instead. The cushions are worth far less than the actual base materials. This was not the case when the game first released but it is now. The value of items should all fluctuate based on the cost of the base items. If you need cotton for example and the cotton is 10k each but you need 100 of them but the cushion sells for 80k, no one will ever sell cushions. You need to adjust the market's min price based off of the max price of the cotton. This should be true for ALL craftable items in the game.

If the crafting market is corrected, and players are enticed and not penalized for creating houses, we would see a great influx on the crafting market where there is a proper cycle of supply and demand. There would be a lot more pearl shop sales in premium housing items because players wouldn't be forced out of their hard earned CP which is very limited in quantity.

There is more that could be done but I think those two things would make an excellent beginning to an overhauled system. What do you guys think? Have I missed something? Need corrections? Got a better idea? Let's throw some ideas, it seems the devs may be listening to our suggestions and it might be a great time to revive this market.
