Over the past 10 years your team has come a long way, and with it there have been a lot of changes. What has and hasnt been popular, worked or not worked, has shaped the game and your design philosophy for classes.
New classes since Guardian, marked a clear shift from the original design of classes, in terms of mobility, weightiness of attacks, as well as overall combat satisfaction. It isnt just that Guardians supposed to be buff, its that sound effects, animation, vfx, timings etc. where on another level, theres this level of satisfaction when attacking that you dont get on other classes. To me Drakania is the culmination of everything youve learned over the years, and how the team has grown/matured. The introduction of various pull attacks, the overpowering range of the Blackspirit 100% attack, and the ability to zip across the battlefield isnt just a bunch of new mechanics, its as if your playing another game.
These changes in class design should be reproduced on all classes, rather than nerfing drakanias move/pulls etc, as is probably expected to happen, similar mechanics should be added to all classses. Adding the pull enemies mechanic, and improving the movement skills range, makes more sense than removing or nerfing new stuff that can be implemented without draka or them losing there individuality.
Have the devs even seen warriors in action?
I'll be honest. I hate Drak's dragonflight. It's so clunky, and it's too easy to botch and waste the long CD. Getting stuck on something as simple as a little rock.
And without it, Drak awa is one of the slowest classes in the game. And her damage is laughable compared to a more mobile class. Trying to like this class, but I'm slowly getting annoyed and starting to hate it.
Well, you explain to me why mystic/striker, with their bare fists, are more agile and have an easier time killing packs with better AoEs.
