I think he was talking about balancing the game for this kind of gear and GS, not modifying the gear itself, so that players would get a better feeling of the combat system.
But in the end, you're also right, balancing things at a medium GS when players are actively looking for a better gear may not be the best choice, they already struggle to balance things at high GS, so how could they even try to balance things at a lower point too?
Exactly. It just gets quite complicated and nigh impossible.

I think:
Full Pen Tuvala (FPT) -VS- Full Pen Tuvala (FPT)
is the best representation of BDO combat to date.
When you get done with FPT and move to the Season Arsha, combat really shines. In Seasons Arsha you get to really feel what BDO combat can do.

I disagree. I think killing after one cc in terrible representation of pvp. Why did they make pvp so complicated, and like a fighting game, if they wanted you to be able to cc someone once then kill them. That just insults all the people who made bdo such a combat oriented game. Why not just take out all ccs and make it so you just sa trade all day? At this poing it would be more competative to do that.
I was pvping last night with someone, and she was 325dp. I dropped my ap to 242, and it felt better than season pvp. It took me 4 cc's to kill them. It was fun and challenging trying to land a reset combo.
ur disagreement here makes zero sense in context. 1 cc kills are the norm of bdo as pointed out by pretty much everyone in this thread, and your fantasy of this being a fighting game is not.
play aos instead of the main game i guess
