Forum post character limit

I have tried for some hours over days to relocate my fishing guides to this new forum. However it seems the limit for character maximum for a post is really short as I tried reducing characters down to bare bones and still not possible. Each time it just gives error;

Your content exceeds the maximum number of characters.

Why can't it at least simply state the actual maximum characters allowed? As it is pure guesswork as it is which is frustrating and easily avoided.

Forum post functionality

This forum software currently lacks some basic functionality like no obvious option for indenting text or bullet points etc. Is there any more advanced formatting options that could be enabled for this Tiny forum? The title character limit is also much to shart also.

Official Forum Community Support?

I can so no obvious way to actually either access basic forum function guide/s or even ask the question directly to any Pearl Abyss Community Manager etc. via the forum. There are no offical post I can see which is worrisome especially like in the Technical Support/ Bugs section to even acknowledge that players reports are actually being actioned or some response.

How can we contact the forum administration/ CM? Or are there none for this forum?

Suggestion

If Pearl Abyss wish for the offical forums to allow players to provide guides etc. for other players (one of the main reasons for an offical forum) then please;

1. Indicate somewhere, preferably on the error message but otherwise in some simple forum post guide what the actual limit is to avoid this frustration.

2. Increase the maximum character limit a lot more to allow for the longer form guides that were possible on the Kakao forums.

3. Add more functionality to the forum tools.

4. Provide an obvious and clear way for players to contact CM on this forum and post a guide about forum posting beyond the rules to aid players.

Summary

Please consider extending character limit for posts and better functionality to encourage player contributions for guides etc. and do provide some way to contact CM here. I really prefer to have my guides on an offical forum but as it is I can't see a way for that which is sad.

Agreed, I'll also add
- add dark theme to the forum cause the full white on white really hurts the eyes
- notifications to answers 
- being able to open forum post on new tabs (which is there but doesn't always works)
- Forum post on current or future in game activity* , cause the moment there's only one type of post we can interact with so I wonder if how you plan on collecting feedback effectively
(* Event post, Patch notes etc .. )

for a game this popular the current state of the forum is an insult to your player base,  more so when you can't even provide a forum at least as good as the previous publisher's one :x

Agree with all that. Lot of basic functionality missing and having small limit to posts makes more detailed and useful guides impossible as it is unlike old forum. Algother currently no encouraging contributions, especially when none of the posts get an answer so far.
