I played this game in 2016-2019 and now I want to get back into the game. I recently noticed that you had to transfer accounts to Pearl Abyss and I did so. Now I want to redownload the game. After I clicked on Download Launcher through this website I am having trouble. I get the launcher, which is called; Black Desert, on the desktop icon. The black ghost comes up and I then wait for hours on end for it to load the launcher. But then I try steam. I thought maybe it would have been a problem with my laptop or not enough storage, but I have 167Gb left on my laptop and 512Gb left on my external Hard Drive. Steam helps me out and downloads right away. But it wouldn't give me an option to login with an existing account. So now I am not really getting into the mood of playing a game where I worked my ass off to get a 53 Valkyrie.

Please help me with my situation and yes I have retried to download the launcher again.

On a serious note..... was the account your trying to log into an actual steam account, or was it through the non steam launcher?

Also did you try uninstalling any previous instances of black desert that may have been installed?

I dunno if this applies to the live game but I did have an issue a while back where I could not install the global labs anywhere except the C: drive. The patcher would just keep getting stuck, but once i installed it on the C: drive (root folder) it worked. (Example: C:\Black Desert Online)

The account I am trying to log into is now a Pearl Abyss account. Was transferred from the previous owners of Black Desert. I have uninstalled the game more than once. But at some point today I noticed it was still installed on my steam. I have uninstalled it and tried to install it from the Pearl Abyss website once more and it's being installed on the C Drive. Still not getting any pop up of the launcher. Just getting the Smiling ghost with "Black Desert Remastered" under it.

Alright so I got the Black Desert Online Global launcher to load but the NA launcher will not load. The problem with that is the NA has my saved email and password but the Global website and launcher are asking me to check my Login ID and password because it does not exist there. I know its only for lvl 56 and higher accounts, but still it is odd I can load the launcher I can not have access to, but still can't load the launcher that I should have access to. Also I have recently got this new computer so it was never installed here. But has been on my old laptop. Please help.

you need the NA/EU launcher, not global lab, not kr, not sea, not ru, but the NA/EU one

I have the NA launcher. Launcher will not open at all. Waiting 16 hours for it to open but the ghost was the only thing that would show.

It was a compatibility issue. After 2 and half days I figured it out. Thank you two for helping! Appreciate what info you brought.

care to share what this "compatibility issue" is?  I'm stuck with the same issue.

I get the black spirit splash, then after that i just get the frame of the loader screen, it's empty.  

Tried Steam version, uninstalled and tried browser download, no difference.

Tried non-admin, admin, everything, you name it i've tried it.

My way to fix it was to change the hard drive. My SSD did not work. For some fing reason tho works my HDD. Its totally stupid but it works
