So, I liked the revamped story in Belanos and for some reason I misunderstood and thought the Heidel and later stories were redone as well. Welp, they certainly don't appear to have been redesigned! I have absolutely no interest in doing these again...and right now I'm loathing my trip to the Lynch farms desperate for a way to skip forward and just grind out through the Mediah stories. Can someone please tell me how to skip these!!
I don't remember where in the quests is lynch farm.
Once the quests lead you to Velia with quest called Sage of Velia, That's when you choose if you want to continue or skip. You deidntlely won't miss is because you get a crossroad there and can't continue until you pick.
Edit: lynch farm is around Heidel, so you definitely went through the option already, in that case you don't get to skip again. You should have taken it when you had a chance.
It appears that's the case. I thought it said I'd have a chance to skip again later though--it's just weird they did only the first 2 parts over again and negleted the other quests. Why they released it like this is a mystery. The first 2 quests are interactive with cutscenes then the quality just falls through the floor...bleh. I'm so annoyed I'm tempted to delete my season character. Too bad I opened the costume already.

I just want to point out that for me, this prompt does not exist unless you exit the conversation before accepting the next quest. This happened on two different characters.
So when you talk to Alustin, you absolutely should not accept his next quest after completing the one that lead you to him. Exit out of the menu completely so you see your character and then the prmopt will appear. This might be a bug, or it might be how it's done now. I didn't know this the first time with Drakania and ended up having to keep going with the story until it gave me the option which was pretty far off.
So to answer OP's question, the prompt will appear sometime after clearing Cron's castle, that's all I remember.
At present, you will get one more prompt to skip the remaining main quest line when you talk to Kirkley at the entry to Serendia. After that, you are stuck with the main quest line through Mediah. This also goes for new characters that completed Eternal Winter first, then started the Balenos quest line afterward.
The following advice is intended for veteran players who don't intend to follow the story and lore. If you are new to the game, you should play at least once from the Ancient Stone Chamber.
My advice, if you desire a seasoned character to jump up fast without a lot of interruption from dialog, is to choose Everfrost instead of Balenos. I have done this twice, the first time I ran it (as intended) listening to all cuts and dialog took just over 15 hours. Second time through I grabbed a mount and spammed skip on everything I could. Due to travel, quests, and a game of Yar, it took just over 4 hours. At the end you will be just above 50. You are not "stuck" doing Mediah at that point you can kill any mobs to level. They want you to reach awakening by killing the Rogues, Helms, etc.. You should be walking away with PEN naru gear and they keep dropping 10 G bars on you for around 60 million silver in total.
Have fun!
In order to skip the storyline, all you gotta do is hit the power button on your PC.
Boom, your done.

lol so "funny"
so what is a faster skip. the ancient stone chamber to velia or the mountain of eternal winter no dialogue skip run ?

Ancient stone chamber has to be done to skip MSQ anyway. MoEW doesn't 'skip', but it will get you to level 50 or so through questing. You can do it before or after the MSQ skip.
