The game would be just as boring as it already is the only difference would be forcing people who dont want pvp to pvp
You didn't read the proposal. That's obvious.
I could have sworn PA brought something up along the lines of having Valencia versus Calpheon. at one of the balls years ago. Honestly they would have to put so many safe guards in place such as once chosen you can't swap without "Ultra" heavy penalties, silver, buff loss for the area and faction, item use and the likes. While I think this should have been implemented from the start again they would have to rehaul a lot of things we currently see. ( including the addition of a new PvP damage reduction stat).
I think this would be good for the game though having a 24/7 progression for PvP.
@PeaceinChaos you should put a detailed outline in the "Feedback" area since the devs hardly ever read the stuff in the NA/EU general threads. Maybe they will read it and outline somethings to integrate as a positive for BDO PvP.
Would have much rather had factions and classes without gender lock. But nothing we can do about it now, way too late to implement

Amen.

True, tl;dr but the game it self hasnt got enough pvp modes, they should add another few more for sure
I'd be a game changer!!
No, the proposal restricted Faction War to ONLY be between guilds who claim nodes / castle in the Calpehon and Valencia regions. All other regions; Serendia, Balenos, Mediah, would be excluded. This means, that if a player / guild does not want to partake in it, they simply do not go for nodes in these two regions.
Edit: And about "the game being as boring as it is already" statement, I'd argue otherwise. Maybe if you're in a T1 guild or averse to PvP. Persistent world-wide Faction-PvP for those who want the action / drama / competiton / commraderie / teamwork with other guilds on their Faction. Unsure what your reasoning behind your claim is, as your didn't mention any context.
So I will assume your reasoning is a circular reason because your have no reason other than "it'll still be boring because BDO is boring". A statement I can agree to an extent. The most life and fun I, personally, experience in BDO is node war with the Alliance and GvG. So to me, persistent 24/7 Faction-Based PvP would make BDO more fun.

Thanks for your input. I think I heard something along these lines too and it just came to mind. There would need to be some fleshing out in order for it to work, like you said. I just feel it would inject so much life into the game and make it more unique among the current MMO roster.
Ashes of Creation is looking good so far, at least from what Intrepid is showing. I am making no claims, but Ashes may be the MMO to beat in the upcoming years and if BDO wants to last it's full "10 year +" lifespan, it'll need something to shake up the MMO-sphere to attract players. Taking the combat system into mind, the organic player-interaction, organic guild-beefs and drama -- at least to me, the answer is PvP.
Edit: Feedback section would've been better. Though IDK about making another thread about it there since it's here already. I'll take your advice and put a thread that's similar to this in the Feedback section in the future.

AOC will be a DOA game mostlikely. Yeah they have good marketing... but a sub based game with an expensive cash shop... with a lot of annoing, unfun mechanisms, it won't end up better than New World. You know Amazon also had dreams and visions, they also had nice promos before release....
AS for bdo, this is a korean P2W grinder, a niche game, with it's own small, niche playerbase. It not going to change, and it's already too late for change anyway. Not like PA would care or would even have the required competence to change it. They already boast with crimson desert and DokeV to the investors instead of bdo...

OK, but it won't stop me from presenting ideas to the community that I, personally, think would be a good addition to the game. Crimson Desert and DokeV are two entirely different types of games.
AOC being DOA like New World is yet to be seen. There is good evidence it will be better than New World (IE: Unreal 5, Steven Shariff being a western MMO player himself who interacts with the community, much better combat system, world, node system, and more), but I reserve full judgement until release. As an Alpha 1 Phase 2 backer, will be able to better judge how it'll be when I get in than now. Hopes aren't high, nor low. Remaining objective is the best route, logically speaking, there isn't anything but subjectivity to judge it by at the moment. Looks good so far, time will tell.

AoC will be a subcription game? Nice, I will have to check it out.
