So, with the developers turning their attention to revamping old systems and old UI's and generally making things a little more convinient, I thought it's about time guilds get the same treatment, so here are some issues I personally think would make great changes.
- Guild buffs and CTG to use Guild Silver, not pledges.
With the very welcome change to Church buffs now using silver instead of gold bars, can we not get this for guilds too? It is incredibly inconvinient to run around grabbing pledges and it really doesn't need to be, just make the buffs and summons take straight from guild silver, this would be a huge QoL feature for GM's and Officers everywhere.
- Elvia Guild missions removed from non-Elvia servers
Elvia Guild missions were a great idea. Allowing them to spanw on non-Elvia channels was not. Not only could they be accidently accepted and then not completed, but they occupy the chance of getting a more favourable guild mission too
- Give Officers the same power as Advisors, minus the ability to edit guild information (Or allow more than one Advisor)
It is silly that still to this day there is some tasks that are so reliant on GM/Advisor. CTG being one.
- Improve guild contracts
In todays economy, 5m a day is not much of an incentive
- Allow a full list of guild missions
The fact that finding the right guild mission is RNG is very irritating at times. I think it would be much better if we just had a full list to choose from. This is especially applicable to combat missions where, even if another guild has the mission I believe it is not a reason to exclude it from the list. Places are usually big enough for multiple spots, and even if not it encourages more open world PvP which should be vieweed as a good thing.
Even if not a full list, large lists would definitely be appreciated.
These are the big ones that come to mind as a GM of a guild, but there are many more minor irritants that I believe could benefit from a Qaulity of Life pass.
Please give the post a like if you agree and comment below if you think of other things and I will add them to the post if I feel they're applicable and hopefully the Devs see this
omg please
Another really important thing to add is a type of guild log that gives contribution points (not CP) for their contribution in guild missions. How do you determine participation payout without knowing who participated? hint: you can't!
I agree with everything except giving officers power of Advisor. Advisor is basically second GM. Giving this privilege to every officer member destroys the hierarchy and can do more damage than good.
INSTEAD
Add editable ranks. GM can edit which permissions that said rank has and which not. It would greatly help. You could finally make a rank that's only permission is to start GQ's . This will bring less pressure on officers and also guild won't have to be worried about their items and all. Officers have too many privileges (kicking, selling guild items) so you can't promote everyone, because there is always one douche who will have a switch flip and do crazy stuff with power abuse.
Ranks with editable permissions won't have these issues anymore.

I would agree with that. First and foremost what I want is more control and agency over what my officers can do. So this would be perfect, I just went for the simple solution :)
In some other games you get 3 basic ranks. Admin, officer, member. Everyone who joins are a member by default. Then you as an admin can add more ranks and more importantly you can toggle what permission to add to what rank. So if you have 10 ranks people could move up the ranks and get more perks. Of course, there's only so much you can do in a BDO guild but my point is that you could technically create a group of non-officers who can accept guild missions if they are trustworthy enough since who wants to keep swapping servers? WHICH is something I would say would be greatly beneficial, have people request guild missions globally. If they are on Val 2 and an officer is on Med 4, the mission could be requested from Val 2 and prompted to the officer on Med 4 and accepted there.
"[3:45pm] Username has requested blah blah blah Extra Large on Val 2" [Approve] [Deny]

We should get permission controls instead. Something like Discord, where you can set a role and the permissions. Even if the roles are fix, we should have controls of the permissions by roles, and maybe even by players.
I'l like to see some notificaiton added for when a Guild Mission is accepted, and by who.
Perhaps a message to the officer chat, that tells you who, and what server channel it was accepted on, and what it's called.
We've had a few cases of missions accepted, but no one knows who did it, or why.
