Can we please get an update on this, PA thankfully lowered the auto ride option to Prof1 but the way to get it is still so dreadfully annoying.

Catching horses is simply unenjoyable, for me at least.

Id like to have auto ride only like 4 more characters but so far only my dedicated trainer has Arti5 and that's only from just lvling horses. Thats not much I know, but this were a loooooot of horses.

Is it possible to eas-up on it?

With lowering exp or a new/reworked method?

Yes it would be nice if they made it so that lvling horses was a lot better since the skill is named Training and not Taming.

Having to tame 100 horses just to level once at a low level is pretty annoying. Imagine that there are 10 artisan levels, 30 master and I forget how many guru levels. In order to level artisan, you require something like 100 horses per level. It's unrealistic to expect players to feel motivated to level horse training particuarly when the cost of electricity is doubling in price, less people will be willing to play AFK simulator.

A welcome addition would be to gain XP whenever a new skill is learned. I find it strange that you don't earn any training XP for teaching your horse to do "tricks". lol

You do get more training exp when the horse learns skills. It can be hard to tell since higher tier horses learn more skills but are also slower to lvl up than lower tiers.

One way you can see this is if you compare a T1 horse bought from an NPC shop to a wild T1 that you either bought from horse market or caught yourself. The NPC horses learns almost no skills when lvling up so you get considerably less training exp from lvling one of them to lvl 15 in comparison to a market/caught T1.

Ofc skill learning is very rng dependent so have to think of the average.

what exactly do u consider "low level"?  beg 1 to arti 1 is 342 horses  with NO BUFFS   with basic af buffs  VP  old moon  journal of nature villa buff verdue draught seafood cron meal and double trainers clothes  its only 137 horses   and same buffs to reach 1 extra lvl  ( beg 1 to arti 2) 165 horses    28 extra horses with basic buffs  not even counting pets misc buffs mastery accessories and so on

unless u mean around the lvl im currently at where i need almost 300 tamed horses to go up 1 lvl but i fail to see how mid master is "low lvl" in any way shape or form considering how long it takes to lvl training

i feel like u dont tame at all and are just spouting nonesense tbh

as for motavation  any player will find motavation if they want something bad enough regardless if its fun or not  players have proved that time and time again

tho i do agree the taming part of training could use a revamp to add more excitment to it  specially the minigame when the horse rears  but most trainers who do training and tame ALOT of horses like myself rebind spacebar to their scroll wheel to make the minigame an absolute joke

tldr: does training exp suck  yup  is it as bad as what ur making it sound  nope not unless ur in mid masters which in training is considered very high

Getting to professional 1 isn't very hard, especially if you use buffs when taming, and it's low enough that simply riding around on horses as they level is enough to get there. IMHO, the big problem is simply that as you continue to level training, the XP curve is way too brutal. While it should take some time to get to guru for any life skill, with training, getting to master is more like getting to guru with some of the other life skills. Very few people are able to reach guru training even if they tame horses on a regular basis. I'd love to see the XP curve rescaled so that the XP required for something like M1 or M5 would be enough for G1 instead - either that, or they should make major improvements to how much XP you get from both taming and training.

Resetting the XP curve would have been preferable to making auto-sprint available at P1.  If a curve reset changed current P1 to A1 etc., the whole thing would have been better off.  PA recognized and 'fixed' a symptom, not the cause.

The minigame is for sure rly stupid as it is now. My mouse is too old to have the function to rebind spacebar to the scroll so im stuck smashing spacebar. I could simply write a script in AutoHotkey to get that exact function but thats not allowed because stupid rules for stupid reasons.

I don't personally see a reason to train multiple horses you don't need just for training skill. Yes, if you have 15 alts, keep training horses until you have 15 nice T8 (or dream) horses for each alt. But once you don't need more horses, pick your favorite T8 or dream horse(s) and keep training them past 30. You get proportionally more skill per level as the XP needed to level the horses increases.

I only train new horses when I actually need new horses. When I don't, I level up my main horses as far as I can.

I'm currently Artisan 7 training without actually making skill gain a goal. It's all from actually training up horses I use, and I'm not done training.
