Few things to improve Arena of Solare - Please add 2v2 ranked mode to AOS - Please tone down arena buff mechanics

Greetings,

I notice players who play Arena of Solare seem to strongly agree that we need a 2v2 mode and wanted to come to forums to request this. I don't play AOS ranked a whole lot due to some of the experiences and issues I will type up below but if there were a 2v2 mode I'd definitely play a lot more. If there could be some sort of a poll many would vote for 2v2 over 3v3 to confirm this I believe. There are many issues that 3v3 has that 2v2 does not and I will mention some of my rationale below:

1. It is a fact we are given teams at random and it is more difficult for a single player to impact the game in a 3v3.  In a 2v2 carrying is definitely easier due to less players and variables.  Furthermore, the main strategy in a lot of 3v3s I noticed is to dive the weakest player or weakest class on enemy team until they are eliminated then it becomes a 3v2. Of course if both your teammates are a bit weaker in 3v3 the enemy team can easily eliminate the weaker players leaving you to 1v3. Winning a 1v3 is nearly impossible in AOS due to too much CCs and debuffs that will be coming your way and the lower damage we do at these lower APs. I've been chopped down many times when both my teammates died early, never won a single 1v3 or come close to be completely honest. Even when I CCed the 3 players at once I'm already slowed and low stamina, they just stand up with 50% health or more and kill me. However, in a 2v2 it is much easier to protect the weaker teammate from 2 players than 3 players.

2. Every time I've been on the winning side where we eliminate 2 and there's just one strong enemy player left, I simply play it safe and watch/protect my teammates. My goal at that point is to make sure there is no chance that a strong player on a strong 1v3 class such as a skilled sorc can win a 1v3 against us.  My point in both these examples is that for a player who is trying hard or skilled, it is not fun to be in 1v3s because it is mainly an exercise in how long you can use your protected stuff/evade damage til you get slowly chopped down or run out of your resources/stamina. If your teammate dies in a 2v2 however, there is a much higher chance of a comeback, especially if you can CC both and/or run and get an arena buff.

3. Every time my 3v3 has become a 2v2 it has become fun and exciting win or lose, it just feels like more of a fight.  The 3v3s just have too much stuff going on (i.e. one musa leaving fight to snag buffs super fast to turn the tables before anyone can stop them) and CCs (debuffs) being used for average or above average players and many of us are not necessarily on the strongest classes for for thriving in that 3v3 environment. We are playing the classes we enjoy whether they are strong or not in 3v3 but in 2v2 I'm sure more classes can really shine than in 3v3.

4. Consider toning down or even removing the arena buffs such as heal orbs because they are too impactful in 3v3s and may make 2v2s feel unfun as well. Players who choose to not fight but instead dash around and consume all heal orbs to keep their teammates toped off are making the arena a lot less fun. I've had games where even though I play well and top damage and CCs, the other team had a faster class that just ran away and prioritized collecting buffs. For example, a musa on the enemy team just ran around collecting heal orbs while his somewhat tanky teammate was on the ground much of the game getting comboed but healed. Then after his teammate got up and landed CCs the musa due to his speed just comes back to win the game. The buffs, especially heal orbs, are simply too strong in AOS 3v3 and should be toned down for 2v2s.
