As soon as I saw the trees preparing for winter, I dyed my new armor the colours of fire and headed to a familiar place. When I was less experienced and weaker, I was afraid of the gateway nearby: its narrow path and calm appearance make it a perfect place for an ambush. I crouched behind the foliage and stood guard, determined to smite down any ill-intentioned attacker before they could realize where my arrows were coming from. However, hiding turned out being a rather difficult task when my pets, excited by the view, started playing with the fallen leaves and causing a ruckus. I soon gave up, slightly annoyed but amused too: I can't blame my friends for being happy and cute. I ended up relaxing in the shade, playing fetch with a pinecone and enjoying the view of the sunset. Fortunately, nothing that could have required an armed intervention ended up happening; perhaps the calm mood in the air affected everyone else as well.
