The cape toggle function is really nice and it can make certain outfits look even better under certain conditions. The Tiger Emissary outfit allows you to take off the scarf and the Shelle belle outfit can be turned into a proper bikini. Unfortunately, toggling the cape does nothing for other players to see making the $22 costume feel rather worthless.

It's a minor change that would greatly benefit the roleplay community. It is an immersive game but things like this really hurt the immersion.

It does work for other players, it just bugs sometimes, since the devs suck at their job.

If you not see the other player in that, then ask him to toggle it again and it will work.

Same with panties showing.

Margoria outlaw outfit for Drak works outside of safe zones. For other classes people still see the cape.

Devs are just bad at their job.

Well it was reported half decade ago on the old forum, multiple times, and was reported even here before, but PA so far didn't even managed to put it into the know bugs, so...

Well, aside from whatever bugs there may be, some outfits (like Shelle Belle) specifically state that the hiding functionality is only visible to other players in safe zones - similar to how you can only show your underwear / swimsuit in safe zones, except that in the case of underwear / swimsuits, it affects you as well as other players. I get the impression that at least part of the problem is that PA is afraid of players grinding in skimpier outfits for some reason (which is pretty silly when you consider that the Kibelius outfit is a thing, and it can be dyed to be practically transparent). So, if the outfit looks anything like a bikini, PA tends to put a cape on it and only make the hiding functionality visible to other players when you're in a safe zone.

Personally, I think that it's a stupid policy on PA's part, but I also don't care all that much, because I buy outfits so that I can see them, and I don't really care all that much what other players can see.

It seems like the Shelle belle cannot do the toggle thing for other players no matter where you are. You can't do it at a beach, on a boat, in public, in a house, in a mansion or even in the courtyard of the mansion. Nothing seems to work for Shelle belle or however you spell it.

I think this one is a bug.
