Is it a form of guild boat hence why uppgrading to one is ridiculous as hell.
I mean looking at all the ways you can get mats and you need to get lucky to get them during trade and the amount you needed. The easiest way would be buying all the mats with Crow coins but bloody hell  about 1 311 950 give or take how many months would that take ?

Im not trying to complain im just thinking should I make it my end goal to get a t3 ship or would it take like 365 days of grinding for coins alone.  Man it feels like trying to build a Titan in eve online solo which would take me 2-4 years of endless grind.

Or should I look for another end goal ?

It's going to take time just do your dailies get your barting up each day little by little you will get it in time. I also suggest making a document showing all the mats you need for each piece and then just focus each piece individually. At least that's what I'm doing.  And so far some of thr overwhelming Ness to it all is gone.

The Carrack is not only huge, but also very powerful and fast.
Regardless of which of the 4 types you choose from, it has 9 cannons on each side for a total of 18. Which makes doing sailies or naval combat suddenly a hell of a lot easier.

Yes, it takes effort to make one but unlike most of the other aspects of the game: It is guaranteed effort. You know exactly what you need to do, and how long it's going to take you. No stupid RNG involved.

Your biggest bottleneck for your first ship, is going to be obtaining the 3000-something barters required until you are able to exchange for Brilliant pearls and Brilliant rock salt ingots.

And in case you wish to go for the Frigate -> Galleass -> Volante/Valor path, you also need double the amount of Cox Pirate's Combat artifacts which are a bit slow to get.

Good luck mate! You're gonna need it, but look forward to it because in a few months time once you have your first Carrack, it is going to be amazing!

PS: Before I forget: DO NOT EVER trade crow coins in for Carrack materials. Trust me, you will regret that later on when you desperately need your crow coins for the Toro gear and Solar/Lunar blackstones.

Sounds like a reasonable plan thanks :)

Yeah it seams allot of new stuff they add are crazy hard until they make it simpler later down the line.  Im not complaning it´s hard i was more wondering if it would take way to long for me to bother or to do it.

if you use all your parley everyday this becomes a time gate since you will have all your mats before you have enough of the items you get from the daily so if you really want to get it I would get into the sailing discord and look to get your sailing dailies started asap

I suggest that you check out the sailing discord. And there are various bartering and ship guides on grumpy green and bdfoundry that are worth checking out. e.g.

https://grumpygreen.cricket/bdo-ravinia-quest/

https://grumpygreen.cricket/bdo-barter-sailing/

https://grumpygreen.cricket/bdo-daily-repeatable-sailing-quests-for-sailing-exp/

https://www.blackdesertfoundry.com/bartering-guide/

https://www.blackdesertfoundry.com/ships-guide/

In general, you do not want to use crow coins for ship upgrade materials, because it's a total waste of coins, and it will be far slower than doing dailies and bartering (and you'll need to do bartering to get the coins anyway). Certain ship materials are primarily obtained from dailies (mostly dailies that involve sea monster hunting). Others are primarily obtained via bartering doing ship material refreshes instead of trade refreshes, but which materials are available is affected by how many exchanges you've done (e.g. you need 3000 exchanges for the brilliant materials to appear via material refreshes). Sometimes, ship materials will also appear via trade refreshes, but it's rarer, and you need even more exchanges to get the same materials that you can get via ship material refreshes (e.g. IIRC, it's about 5000 exchanges to start seeing brilliant materials with trade refreshes, though even then, it will be much rarer than with ship material refreshes).

So, to get a carrack, you need to be doing various sailing dailies on a regular basis (most of which will go better after you have either a caravel or a galleass, since sea monster hunting is pretty disgusting before then). You need to be doing trade refreshes regularly to get your number of exchanges up, to get crow coins, and to stock up on the various levels of bartering materials. You then need to be doing ship material refreshes at least occasionally to exchange for the ship materials that you need, but until you hit at least 3000 exchanges, you won't be able to get all of them. And you'll likely be spending months on it, because the entire process is very slow, with the dailies of course only being able to be done daily, and bartering being limited by both how many barter points you have to do refreshes and by how much parley you have for each refresh.

Crow Trade Vouchers (which can be made from loot scrolls) can be used to help deal with the parley problem, but they can only be used once every 4 hours. And having a Value Pack active will help with both your barter points (it adds 50 to the base 100) and your parley (it reduces how much you need for each exchange by 10%). As your bartering level increases, the amount of parley you need for each exchange decreases, but the progress is pretty glacial.

Ultimately, once you have a carrack, bartering will be much more efficient (both due to increased carrying capacity and speed), and sea monster hunting will be much more efficient (due to increased damage, increased durability, and increased speed), though if you want to be most efficient, you'll need multiple carracks, since the Advance would be best for bartering (since it has the highest capacity), whereas either the Volante or Valor would be better for sea monster hunting (since they both do more damage; the Valor does more damage than the Volante, but the Volante is faster). Similiarly, bartering with a caravel is more efficient than a galleass, but sea monster hunting is more efficient with a galleass. So, you might want to consider having two ships while you work towards your carrack even if you only decide to turn one of them into a carrack.

And then once you have a carrack, it can be a very involved process to get better gear for it, and it takes a lot of crow coins - also a lot of sea monster hunting. PA made it so that obtaining and improving carracks is one of the few things in the game where it's impossible to buy your way there (so anyone who has a carrack actually earned it), but it's definitely a long and involved process.

Short: just do daily mats quests from sailing (don't grind cox pirates extermination seal, but if you pass an island with pirates during bartering, kill them and collect seals). When you do daily for others mats you will obtain much more cox pirates legacy than you need (you need do cox pirates legacy quest to unlock quests for others mats).

Do 3000 barter and you will unlock Brilliant pearl shard and Brilliant rock salt ingot in barter. Collect and save barter trade goods lvl 5. You will need them for Brilliant pearl shard and Brilliant rock salt ingot exchange.

If I remember correctly it will take you about 3-4 weeks (need some luck with Brilliant pearl shard and Brilliant rock salt ingot, sometimes there are both and sometimes only one in barter for each barter reset).
