Anyone else notice nobody is grinding in these areas.  Saunil, Rhutum, Giants not a single peep.

We need better drops in these areas, and better buff mechanics.  Saunil and Giants are okay.  Rhutum is a mess.  

Same thing with Mountain of Eternal Winter.  Only 1 out of 4 grind spots are good lol.

Main problem of those spots is that they exist, after you blessed your Vell there is zero reason to go there, terrible XP/SP, low income, recommended GS is straight up lie ( add like ~30GS and play "special class"), buff mechanics have extra low chance to drop and to short (and you can't really leave zone of it, so its just a waste because you have to wait for respawn).

Those kind of spots was good alternative to grind before marni, now you can easy avoid "skilled pvp players playing FOTM class with max PVP buffs and crystals asking you DFS while you on grind set up to buff up their ego" and just do marni hour.

Yeah after PA killed their open world dreams the mayority of the world ended up being obsolate even more. At this point they might jsut delete 90% of the map and add proper instances.

As long as PA don't listen to players nothing will change, there was not a single ingame survey ( they don't even have system for it), if you as developer listen to internet <oldest profession and its not mercenary> instead of players, you get what we have. PA so desperate that they even deside to take a "suggestion" from forum (90% private profiles or ~62lvl after 6+ years, they just can keep listen to twitch chat), so they might have started to suspect that listening to internet <oldest profession and its not mercenary> not so good for game.

I tried but as a <300ap shai, that's asking for trouble. The best I can do is offer buffs to other players so they can kill stuff for me. I don't mind stupid hard content to aspire to, it's just so steep of a climb. I noticed that you don't really get access to new stuff progressively at end-game so it's a bit demotivating to think that in another 2 years i might be strong enough for it. I keep failing RNG so getting PEN on everything is a fleeting dream. I might just have to buy all my gear lol

Weird is no one going for the purple black star? I see people with them I imagine someone has to be ?

Market is easily saturated from these materials as you drop a lot of them in one hour. Also generally, advancing beyond TRI or TET is a waste of money and stacks for Godr Ayed (in my opinion and maths) so I'm not sure it many players go higher than that. 
Those that do can easily gather their own supply with little grinding. 

The problem is not only Elvia.

In my opinion there are too many 280-300 AP grinding areas and too few 240-260 AP grinding areas.

They are releasing the 80% of the content which can be used by only the 10% of the characters, a total nonsense.

Is it though?

I can think of many 240-260 zones not in elvia and elvia alone has 5 

Beraghis, Altar imp( 2 person), castle ruins( 3 person), nagas, fogans

Each or these have  like 3 rotations each multiple channels....

Outside of that

Akman( many rooms), hysteria( a few rotations), manshaums 

Trees? Maybe?

Idk I don't have a map in front of me atm but there's a lot of spots kratuga( agris spot) (many rooms)

Idk there's a lot for this gear level.

It's a noobtrap like blackstar armors, what you expect?
