All it takes is one of your many trolls and their carrack to completely deny a guild their use of their galley on a server. There is no way to access the galley wheel if a carrack is parked in the dock. PLEASE ADDRESS THIS. Guilds should not have to change all of their plans based on one stupid carrack in dock.
Why do you mention Carracks only? Have you ever seen 2 galleys one on top of another too? Same problem, no one can grab steer wheel unless one galley is checked in back to NPC. The ship is not a problem, people are.
And also the title of your topic. What update? You didn't suggest any update and how.
Of course people are the problem. That is what developers are supposed to do, though: limit the damage people are allowed to inflict upon each other, since trolling is such a pervasively popular hobby.
Any personal ship can be moved even when another ship is overlapping and blocking. All you have to do is left-click on the ship anchor icon in your mount menu, the row of icons for interacting with your mount/pets/fairy/etc. Hovering your mouse over that anchor shows you the ways in which you can use it. Clicking on the icon while you are standing near the wheel forces you onto the wheel, and you can drive it away. No problem!
The only ship for which this cannot be done is guild galleys. The obvious update would be to give at least guild officers and higher the ability to do the same thing with the guild galley if they are on server and near the wheel. Guild galleys are so far behind the rest of the sea content progression that the meaning of my title is self-evident. Do SOMETHING useful to them at this point.
