i want all the players to come back what must be done?

I stopped playing bdo for a month since a Chinese "epic game" company decided to piss off another Chinese company "Mihoyo"
I don't give a damn about their problems in their countries, the fact that a Korean game uses epic game's anti-cheat and therefore blocks my use of genshin impact annoys me (genshin impact does not use EAC)
It's not the first time that this "problem" happens, not to mention the different versions of EAC blocking each other..
I bought BDO with a Korean anti-cheat "xigncode3", today I am unable to play my other games because of their new Chinese anti-cheat.

I had no choice but to stop playing bdo because everything else works together seamlessly.

I have a bunch of games on Steam that will no longer run while BDO is minimized to tray. They used to at one point, but those days are over.I agree with the OP.

BDO is generally updated to the latest version of EAC meaning other games aren't up to date. Epic refuses to acknowledge this as a real problem which is really their problem at the end of the day and not the game developers. Unfortunately there aren't many choices on the market that doesn't spy on what you're doing and what you have on your computer so EAC is the safest bet out of all the choices. Some even monitor what websites you go to and what files/folders you have and sell that information. Now that's creepy! Windows does this automatically if you don't force disable it using third party apps but at least it can be disabled. EAC doesn't really spy on you or steal that data so it's "safe" at least for now. It doesn't mean that EAC won't be safe to use forever, it could just be a trojan horse.

PA could just use server-side code to validate some actions from time to time to see if there's any suspicious behavior, I know there's a lot of A.I. alternatives that monitor servers for things like these and I'm sure implementing it for games wouldn't be too stressful. But they already have EAC and I doubt it affects enough players to make it worth their while to change.

Well it's costing them my business. I am currently focusing on lost ark with friends and normally would do little things in bdo which would get minimized. Now I can't so bdo doesn't get loaded. Sometimes those little things are browsing the bdo shop for deals so it's actually costing pearls abyss my dollars. I don't get why these companies even use these lousy anti cheats when they are all so easily circumvented anyways. 

I quit BDO to play Genshin, then came back to BDO for 6 months. In the past month, I've been unable to launch Genshin with BDO running because of anticheat software. I usually AFK fish and then grind on the 2 days off from work. However it's been so inconvenient to keep closing Genshin to play BDO, or vice versa. Even if I need to send a message to a friend in Genshin, I have to close BDO. This is made even more convenient because I have to get my phone and type in the authentication code each time to log in. 

It's gotten to the point where I just stopped playing BDO altogether just so I can log into Genshin freely without the hassle. I also noticed that the guild I was in has pretty much died. Nobody is on and nobody talks. I find it hard to believe this is because of "electrical consumption fees."

EAC is terrible for multi-task oriented people. The only two ways I can see to resolve it is either PA gets a different service or they change the always online requirements for certain things. I hope for the latter myself but either is fine.
