As a new player since this season I've been enjoying the game so far. The enhancement RNG for gear is TERRIBLE but everything aside from that has been a joy. As for the Heidel ball though the Magnus content looks pretty interesting and the new that they are increasing the overall money grinded from most spots seems like decent QoL. I know a lot of veteran players are upset about stuff lately, even some of my friends or guildmates ingame are annoyed by some systems in the game and almost all of that stems from how bad the gear enhancement system is. With that said, hopefully they'll make some changes gear enhancement system eventually because it just feels bad to even try to enhance anything, especially accessories.

Havent spend any money on them for soon 2years and didn't enchant in that time either, game plays better that way.

Game got better recently but the progression system is still a joke. And it will always get worse unless they give out pens like candy *cough* magnus *cough* 

What do you need this pen for? Boss gear pen it's currently a soft cap. 

Season -> Tuvala Pen -> Boss TET -> Jetina -> Boss PEN -> Flame from market -> Fallen.

2-3 seasons, some grind and you've got 283 AP. Problem is that you can't get anything higher than that. Grind trash for black stars pen or acc pens is unrealistic and pointless.

Conclusion: without changing this system to progressive and guaranteed this game will always be as dead as it is today.

And the solution is simple: feeding items, similarly to fairy. Eg. you have black star tet and you feed it with other items which fills up the weapon exp bar, when it is full it is promoted to pen (or even better, not pen but godr lvl). This automatically solves the problem of trash items that nobody wants and does not need, e.g. akum or lemoria. Same with acc. I have almost 90 kagtum rings which I have not been able to sell for six months at the minimum price. I'd like to get rid of them to promote tungrad from tet to pen.

Pen Godr an pen blackstar have the same stats...

So once again especially for you: guaranteed black star tet to pen enchantment system could last too long and would not provide any visible benefits. And since the intermediate lvl as godr has already been added, they can be used for this purpose.

Problem is the accessories, there is too little difference between tet and the pen for introduction of intermediate lvl but it's still possible.

Eg. Tungrad Ring TET 18 AP and 10 accuracy, Tungrad Ring PEN 21 AP and 12 accuracy. So we can add "Tungrad godr":
Tungrad Ring TET+ 19 AP and 10 accuracy

Tungrad Ring TET++ 20 AP and 10 accuracy

Tungrad Ring TET+++ 21 AP and 12 accuracy (same as PEN).

Small but guaranteed steps. Also in future player should use Tungrad Ring PEN to feed true end game Deboreka Ring or echange system similarly to Boss Pen cr10 -> Fallen.

And you can say whatever you want, until there is such a system, then BDO has no future.

You value pen blackstar far to highly.You already know they will bring Fallen God Weapons. So in reality Kzarka /offin will land up better because of the conversion being cheaper happend with all other blackstar gear so far. Not sure why your focused in on Pen Blackstar And Pen Godr.

You want a guranteed method that means the item loses it value which means none will sell on the market which makes failstacking pointless also putting streamers like salt an biohack out of reasons to play . Your reasoning just seems like you dont want to order from the market and are focused on minor increases.(also you want your name on something because you cant do it yourself an learn how to failstack).Blackstar shouldnt even be your focus. Should be looking at accessories since they will blow up or down grade with crons. At least your item doesnt vanish when enhancing when it comes to Blackstar. Even if the rates are bad.

I was hoping to read some interesting points on what someone enjoyed about Heidel Ball but this is just a rant on you not being able to land any of your enhancements. I get it's frustrating but you're aware you could just grind or lifeskill to make the money to just buy the item straight up, right? You don't have to constantly gamble and feed your addiction to gambling, especially if you're gonna be upset when it fails. If you wanna feed your gambling addiction and not feel bad when you lose, play those mobile casino games or keep playing your gacha games. EZPZ.

The RNG of progression really is annoying, frustrating, and can get quite expensive. 

I agree with the original poster regarding the lack of a guarantee for cash shop items (costumes/artisan) just more of an improved chance which can feel exponential is not good, fun, or enjoyable for most humans. 

Listen they DO need to fix that crap, If I failed 7-8 pen ogres with a 230 stack I could have purchased one ..
