Please PLEASE look at the SA block mechanic, I.e. Warrior, Succ Nova, Valk, Guardian for the upcoming balancing changes.

This mechanic has existed since the beginning and is very outdated; inconsistent with how the game can be played for the vast majority of other classes without it, or worse, without grabs. We don't need to give every class a grab because it would be a nightmare, however, this mechanic prevents all kinds of meaningful gameplay between a class with SA block and one without, for example, Succ Nova vs Hash, DK, Archer, or Warrior vs Caster, Sorc etc. If the direction which PA is heade in is towards more damage and outplay potential, by adding more speed, damage, movement and reducing slows (recent warrior nerf, more to come hopefully), then the SA block mechanic needs to change. I'm not saying remove it, because then it would destroy class identities, but there needs to be some semblance of balance between one side pressing Q and it invalidates all forms of CC AND damage from the front; what's worse is that all Q block classes can also rotate their blocks to negate damage as the opponent tries to get behind them to deal damage, this could be a starting point. Change Q block in a way that doesn't take power away from a class, but rather gives more power and opportunities to outplay to other classes that currently struggle against these matchups. For example, Caster vs Warrior is very unplayable in 1v1, same as any non grab class into Succ Nova or Valk in general.

Eample solution

- Q block still functions as it does now, none of its current functions are removed or impeded, HOWEVER, after holding Q block for more than 1 second (arbitrary number), your character is locked in a block animation and now cannot turn for 1 second (arbitrary duration)

This would make some matchups bearable where as right now it's almost cringe worthy. It doesn't help that Valk and Warrior are by no means slow classes, they are some of the faster classes and vastly overperforms in 1v1 matchups.

Please, enough with these gimmicky mechanics that invalidate all forms of player skill expression, start with this. Change SA block.

pls go make mass pvp as a guardian and u will see how your block will disapear in 3 seconds . The classes wich u sayd warrior nova succ valk should be front liners in nodewars but they dont tank in Nw. U just complain about 1 vs 1 but in the end the end game is about nodewars.

Kinda funny how somone always mentions that the game is not balanced in x PvP mode cause they balance it for a another mode. Surely nw is not balanced cause they balance for AOS right? And AOS suck cause they balance for 1v1 kappa

This is not a PvP game. They not balance it for anything. They just do random changes and it either works, or more often not. The devs neither competent enough, nor care about the PvP balance.

And btw having block for 3s is huge, as others getting deleted in a fraction of that. You live 3s more, if ur skilled u can utilize it...

who gives a fck about AOS when its not end game ????? just a 3 vs 3 arena . The game was more balanced till they add ap/dp brackets . On NW are classes with 100% killing 10 people instant and u cry about block ????? a dmn striker tank much more than a guardian and its not a front liner ????? The game is very unbalanced and i think it will not be balanced any time sooner bcz they dk how to do it . Or they will nerf a lot or they will buff too much.

Rat classes complaining they cannot instantly iframe jump behind a block class and CC them.. why take away SA from block class.. just delete the block classes ..let the rats play against each other.

Its funny you mention this because this very same mechanic is how kunos Q block works it doesnt drain block unless being hit but it does consume stamina while using it. Always find it strange that her block did that when none of the others did.

Wiz and witch should do 50% less damage like Shai, since they are more so support classes.

imagine how it is for other classes if your block really dissappears that fast. (doubt)

also, u can shuffle your iframe/movement to not just be a pinata.

I'm a tamer full pen at with over 300AP kutum & have level 8 caphra armors. I was ganging on a player with 5 more peeps. My Frontal Guard gave up & died.
