Nope. August is correct because stamcharts gives data from below, not from above, also in Korea it was probably earlier, so players react in advance.

Logically you analyze the outcome after any event/update. Not before it. Because this said event/update never happened. And therefore it's logically to give an analysis of september, since something happened right almost at the end of August. One day isn't enough to give a good analysis. From the beginning of August to the end you can see how many players are average coming and/or going through the whole month. Players come and go for various reasons. We never know and there's no denying of that. That's not the case however.

Steam charts can never tell the real reasons why this or that happens, unless you take your time to somehow debunk.

If you complain so much about Abyss and you don't like the rewards you can just not use the function at all and not complete the quest, ignore the Rabam that comes with it as well.

I don't know why "veteran" players complain so much about updates that make it easier for new players, because yes, games need new players to keep functioning properly, in case you didn't know.

BDO can be unforgiving for new players, having multiple seasons and systems that help them close the gap between them and a veteran player is GOOD for the game and for the playerbase, you should be thanking them adding and working to keep the game appealing for new people because wether you like it or not, it's the lack of new players that kill any mmo.

If you don't like a system they introduce it just ignore it, you are not forced to fast travel, but don't say it's a bad addition, it just add extra options to the game; Do you think it ruins your immersion? Don't use it, rely in your horse and boat.

The gap in gear with veterans and not having fast travel are the two things that prevented most of the players I've met over the years from playing BDO. Seasons are good for the game, fast travel is a good addition, stop hating so much.

PA might not be the best at game balancing and they make mistakes, we all know it, but they are trying to keep the game appealing for new players so you can keep playing it.

About fast travel, though I'm against it, I'm still happy that it's not supposed to be used everytime, a kind of BDO-style compromise.

OP complains about that, precisely, he would like to be able to use it intensively.

Simply a matter of point of view. But OP is known for saying that everything he dislikes brings doom to BDO and even already killed it. Lul.

august is factually incorrect since stamcharts gives data from below, not from above with the patch coming the day before the data collection time ends ;)

also i've already stated that korea got it well, well before even your first incorrectly stated date of when costume melting came to naeu which was already 1 year off.

Still, that's a pity players got used to all those paying shortcuts, the gaming industry is mainly going in a poor direction because of that (by "that", I think about the various monetization strategies, not about the fact that players got used to it).

Games sold in various highly expensive pieces... Paying shortcuts... Gambling/lootboxes...

Where? You speak about crap Jetina pen boss gear? They added them to the game because most players, even 5 years after the premiere, did not even have one pen.

But it does not change anything. Any p2w crons melting bot will kill you with one - two hits because this game is simple math, you have 310 AP, then you win with what has 280 AP. This game hasn't changed since its premiere. And then and today without a very thick wallet you have no chance to get the best items, and without them in pvp you do not exist (noone care solar arena).

Also where season for manos pens?

ignore the Rabam that comes with it as well.

ROTFL. Rabam is a not funny joke to my class and I don't use them.

fast travel is a good addition

Of course it's good, but not 15m per use. 100k max for longest distance would be acceptable.

Oh, really? Where do you think those PENs on the market are coming from, Eistein?

Same old BS. There are players, whom don't spend a penny to get ther. I am one of them.

What's 15 mil. again? One can earn more than 120mil. with ease for an hour grind. So much noise for nothing.

As much as I agree with new players needing to be taken care of like you said, IE: Catch up mechanics like Season gear and other systems, I must point out how illsighted the "if you don't like it, don't use it" argument is.

It makes me think of this example:  "If you don't like free money, then throw away your stimulus check"

The economy gets messed up.  "It doesn't affect you".

Fast travel will have an impact on the entire game -- to what degree is yet to be seen -- but the fact is, it's introduction will affect everyone.  Why would a player, who may not like fast travel, "ignore it", especially when travelling to the new continent?  Even if a player does not like fast travel, they will inevitably and surely use it, "ignore it if you don't like it" is dismissive at best, ignorant and bigoted at worst.

I am neither for it, nor against it.  My main concerns are: Will open the door to exploits?  What limitations will be put on it?  Does fast travel diminish the feeling of the map's size in BDO?  Does fast travel diminish the experiences the devs have put together by allowing players to skip over places of interest between regions?

That being said, I reserve my opinion on fast travel until release.  Heck, if done right, it could be highly beneficial, I'm more in the camp it will be a net positive (copium).  But pls.  Just know how illsighted "if you don't like it, ignore it" is, because a change this massive has an effect on the entire game, how it's played, and the entire playerbase as a whole.

Wait, he really complained about daily login silver?  KEK.  I get 16m per day, just for logging in.
