so i am including this pic. i want to hide this Manor quest because i know i will maybe not complete it for a long time and it takes up a lot of space on the quest list in the window. i was hoping if i uncheck the box that it would stop showing. is there any way to change what shows on the quest list at the right? thanks for any info. maybe i am just missing something super simple?

Hi there. You can change this also in the settings of the side bar. Currently, you likely have the setting "show lasts quests" active, as this is the default. This setting ignores the checkmark, and will show any quest that was last updated there. If you set this setting to 0, instead of the 3 it has by default, quests that you have unchecked will no longer show up in your sidebar. 
To find this setting, simply hover over the sidebar. A gear icon with the word settings next to it will show up. Click on it, and find the option is said above. 

ty so much. i have played this game on and off for several years and never been ever to figure it out and it was finally driving me crazy . . .  ugh some of the interface design on this game is just nutso. thanks again!

This seems to not be working as is a lot of other things in BDO at the moment

Can you elaborate what is not working? I did not personally have any issues with it so far.
