I'm beyond disappointed with direction PA has moved Sage Succession. It is hands down the most boring and inept class in the entire roster now. As a person that's mained this class or kept tagged since March 17th of 2021, I can say this is hands down the most disheartening point since launch. Whomever thought making this class entirely reliant on Ebuff and resetting said ebuff so you're a relevant class for 1 min every 2 1/2 minutes needs to really walk back this decsision.

He's absoltely incapable of consistent or even average PVE numbers and it's hilarious to see people suggest he's #2 at Hexe on Garm w/ only 8 hours and zero proof anywhere else that it's even capable. I'm tripple pen blackstar now and will openly admit, even taking non-meta classes to the same spots with same exact gear on a tagged character EASILY yields 3-4k more trash. Likewise, in PVP, without full evasion and ebuff you're ineffective without heavily outgearing your opponent. When ppl say he's A+ in Siege/NW, why do they always add with the caveat "With gear"? Because he's a class that literally requires you to go unfocused rotating the same 3-4 skills and waiting for ebuff despite 80-90% of your kit being melee/midranged....and he's lost every single slow, the only way for such a slow class to level the playing field because he cannot cancel any skills, he cannot chain cancel any and he cannot startup cancel anything other then Ator's Mark. It's literally why this class is SOLELY relegated to NW....and even then, you need to outgear or rely on ebuff to even be effective in that lol...god forbid you're focused in it, b/c w/o gear advantage or e/z...there's no point in even resisting....you throw out Illusion Compression, the skill we're having to possibly choose to lose for Magus, and pray it cc's. If it doesn't, no point in running in Super Armor Riftchain...they just have to grapple the animation of where you were or hit it with a dps skill and despite you being 5-6 character lengths away...still fly back in to the grab or die.

Now they go to release Magus skill which replaces his best catch...and it's Super Armor? Sage already eats so much damage entry to the exact same grind spots as other classes requires 20-30+ more gear TO STILL UNDER PERFORM....and now you're adding yet another very slow skill to be used exactly where? In the spots he already can't grind? It's clear no one over there is testing this class, because if they were, there wouldn't be a litany of bugs like Riftchain SA hitbox bug...or hell, this new Magus skill would be FG to be somewhat useful and prevent the massive damage we're going to have to eat to even cast it. I'm very disappointed in the decsion making when it comes to this class.
