While i believe that the features "the magnus" is introducing now should have been in the game from the start and i am glad they are finally here i also believe that the way the interconection between storages is being approached is unnecessarily inconvenient.
As a simple example, to move an item you have to click on the storage tab of the town where you have the item, place it in your inventory and then move it to the destination storage, meaning that if you have large quantities of a heavy item that you want to move, it will take you a while to get it done, due to your own character's weight limit.
So my proposal is this: why dont we stop trying to re-invent the wheel and just implement the standar "shared storage" with several tabs that allow you to properly organize your stuff and that you can just open in every town as we have been doing in almost every MMOs in the last decade?, i mean functionality wise is the same thing but QoL wise it would be a huge improvement, and if we feel inspired you could even add the ability to rename a storage TAB and even a "move to X TAB" functionality.
Well... for example? With all the things you mentioned, don't forget that allowing players to rename storage will cause the server to have a lot of read / write to overwhelming the server. There are many players and it could cause problems...?

Why would renaming storage tabs affect server performance?
Just use a horse to move a large quantity of heavy items, I did this to move all my metal and ore. It works with the new storage system.
and just implement the standar "shared storage"
