Ouch, my heart aches.... I hope they reconsider because Shai is at the bottom of the list in almost everything. We don't even get to use many skills and nobody really cares about the "professional" bonus for some life skills. It takes like 10 minutes to level to pro these days.

When I picked my starting class in the selection screen, shai is presented to me like all the orher classes. So I expected that shai can do the same things that other class can do. It turned out that shai can't even access the basic game functions properly like other class, for example jetina quest, tagging and market place.

And switching to another class costs real money.

It is kind of like getting scammed.

Someone once used clips of 4 shai in costume to recreate an anime opening video.  It was well done and very convincing.  It would be hilarious to have someone put together a video featuring a choir of Shai, (maybe the group in Calpheon?) singing "It's a Hard-Knock Life" from Annie.  Kinda suits Shai's treatment (and her poor mainers) over all these years.

Just stop spending any money at all, this is a scumlord answer to an easy fix.

tbh we can keep shai stats as it is....I can life without the extra stats from bs and the caphras on awa....we are pretty good grinder as it is....BUT I demand we getting a way to copy our Sol into a normal Dandelion. I can see why rebalancing would be hard to do, but there has to be a way to at least give us the option to play a second class like everyone else. The Tag and Copy system is so confinient especially with new and interesting classes comming out. But we are stuck to rr a secondary "awa" weapon everytime we wanna try something new. And sure, we got a few rr coupons from events, but those arent limitless and there is no way to craft or build them....

Maybe implement a shai exclusive quest then to turn in a dandelion and get a different one out of it....so we could play a secondary class. This answer is so frustrating. 

Maybe PA should put a warning label on her in the character creation screen. If they don't~ it will drive players away when they fall into this trap. TRAP TRAP TRAP!!!

All I asked is for shai players to be given combat/skill exp and weight/inventory slot coupons so they can switch characters. I don't think anyone really signed up to be an enjoyment class. It doesn't say that on the character creation screen. So, it's a false advertisement.

This is not relevant anymore. Her passives don't make sense anymore as lvling up become way too easy and fast and lvling up from gathering weeds to 63 is like...????? errr no?? who even thought this is good? Her passive are absolutely useless, she deserves evasion buff or something that has actual impact on lifeskill but then again with recent updated, if one wants to gather more raw materials u just need seasonal character with magic tool and agris. Also shai's mobility doesn't make her faster at picking up weeds, musa is the king on this field so i don't know....what is exactly the uniquness since any class can be a good lifeskiller and shai isnt better at it in any way.

Musical instruments? Soon all classes will be able to play them so again, this is irrelevant "unique" aspect. So now what, she is gonna be unique because of dancing emote? Did developer team behind shai decisions heard themselves talking about such plans outloud? 

Starting lifeskill on professional 1 again, doesn't apply anymore because in a matter of 1h max one can achieve it via afk alchemy of Pure powder reagant or just picking weeds in Behr/Treant.

While i appreacite the answer on the topic the reasoning behind it doesn't make any logical sense. Shai, today, is a support class, not a lifeskill musician anymore and i still hope u realize it at some point, that what was made before, might not work due to how patches/updates/new classes/buffs change the game. Shai deserves an update as a real support class, not a defensless weed picker with useless passives. 

As for Artina Sol if u wanna keep it original to class, non taggable, non sellable its okay but give us more variety of weapons and let us put caphras in them.

I am sorry, but shai is not special in the way you present the class to be. She's nowhere near being s-rank in lifeskilling and her lifeskilling passives are a bad joke at this point... I mean, did any of the shai developers leveled up a shai to 63 via gathering, taking full benefits of her amazing passives? No? Why? No human is known to live to the venerable age of 200?

Let's move on to the other amazing benefits of the shai, shall we? A lot of outfits to craft!! Yet she's cut out all premium outfits, because her Sol is so f*****g special. And on the topic of Sol. It being untradable is alright. Hell! No pen gear piece should be available on the CM, so that we can stop the "Only idiots enhance in BDO!" crap. But it also being unobtainable in any other way and untaggable is just... mean.

Don't give shai a Blackstar Sol, fine! Give the class a Blackstar-like soll that buffs stuff that you say makes the class unique. An item that can be aquired from defeating foes, bosses, singing or doing 100 loops around the world on that useless mutt of mount.

Oh, yeah! By the way! Why are there no Krogdalo donkey parts in any of the boxes you made available. Nor at Shakatu? Because Shai is a unique class? Special class with special needs kind of class? 

And talking about the shai mounts... do you guys enjoy making fun of the class by continuously giving it slow and useless mounts that have no chance making it past a roleplay or screenshot session? That's what you consider special? Meh!

The thing that triggered all sorts of bells and alarms in that response was "To give some context, when we designed Shai, we tried a new approach in her 1) class development that deemphasized combat efficiency and competitiveness – and instead, placed greater focus 2) on more unique aspects such as her musical instruments and starting life skills.".1) Shai is a good grinder, so that failed. She's a good companion for party spots too. Just the devs mocked her traversal (talking both skills and mounts) and gear acquisition. And mocked these aspects hard. 2) Errr... what now? Her musical instruments that you have announced to become available to all classes? Starting life skills? Do you guys even lifeskill? How are "starting life skills" even relevant today? I can get P1 in those branches on any character in the first 10 minutes of the game. And past that, what? Her lifeskilling passives? Really? That's the trade-off for having everything harder - from gearing up to making that blasted donkey a bit better?
