I just want to be able to have my shai as my main and tag from her. I have to use weapon exchange coupons any time I want to play a new class using my main gear because the Sol is untaggable. 

Please let us use our blackstars/dandelions etc on shai so we can enjoy the tag system the same as every other play in this game. 

Here’s the kicker when it comes to devs and how they act.

Seasonal; We have classes without awakening and without an awaking weapons, but to make it more usable (Garmother heart) they at lest provided an items ‘marni’s Pocket Watch’ (different issues, but same sort of area, showing they will spend the resources and time when they wanna)

You see, they think and develop useful stuff for other classes and give Shai hand-me-downs from Dokev, e.g. the dancing (which I like) and the alpaca, which was an animation beta test carried out by shai players without telling them (Nothing wrong with asset sharing, this is good for shai, but it’s no skin off PA’s back and even to their advantage… and they use it as an excuse to ignore the issues we ask them to look at)

Unhand and disinterested development team that artn interested in what we want for shai, as they have their development path. What we here at the ball, 99% baloney and this is we we dont trust j, We get lied too and handed Dokev assets . Shame I get to say that and we see the evidence that its in fact true, but the fault and restorability of that label lays rightfully with the dev team.

Surprised our Wonderful and caring CM team arn’t more consolidating with the player base as they know what going on too, meh

So we're getting this entire exchange system where we will be able to exchanges multiple accessory slots of 2 different accessory types at multiple levels of enhancement for a free accessory that nobody cares about.. Also going so far as to trade PEN accessories for TET accessory with guaranteed upgrade stones so that players can have their name on their free accessories

but years after release, a Shai still cannot exchange a PEN dandelion and a weapon exchange coupon for a guaranteed PEN Sol. This should have been available at class launch. A Jetina equivalent should have been in game within a few months of that system launching. Its not as if PA was unaware of Shai's situation at the time, they even acknowledged Shai in that Oct 8 video and said that she would recieve ~an alternate route(I dont remember verbatim, its translation anyways)

Addressing the tagging situation might actually be difficult, but when it is so obvious that PA wont even alot tiny amounts of dev time to fixing problems with such easy solutions- why would we assume that any problem is actually difficult to address.

offer us a fair class design that will allow us to defend our spot or at the very least as Wootaru put it- If Shai is not intended to engage in 1v1 then she must necessarily become the best class at escaping PvP. That is obvious design.

Even our class description in game emphasizes our high nimbleness and natural evasion- things that we dont actually have. It also describes us as a ranged attacker, even though our damage is considered melee. The one thing that I couldnt find in game no matter how hard I looked was any reference to Shai being "an enjoyment class that sacrifices combat efficiency"

"Shai is an enjoyment class, she is not for combat efficiency."

A solution I though about (not sure if something like this was already brought up or not)

-Please make a new slot for our Sol so it's not considered an awakening weapon by the system anymore.

-Remove all stats on it that aren't the buff upgrades

-Now we have a free awa weapon slot to put a dandelion/blackstar into. We have the stats on it, we have the possibility to caphra it and especially tag and copy it to any other normal character. 

We would still need to upgrade our Sol like this, but it's a small price to play for a functioning copy. Another option would be to make our Sol-buffs into a passive we need to do maybe a questline for. 

It would also be super sweet if all the Shais that went the way to get a pen (or other level) Sol (money, time, FS etc) would get an equally upgraded Dandelion to be on the same level again.

If the stats that the dande/bs would add to our Florang grind kit would be to strong and make us top 1 grinder....just nerf our dmg a bit. As long as the balance is there we are all good with it. I think the most annoying thing ppl hate about the "special" awa is that we cant copy and can't get a Blackstar. 

Getting closer to Maegu release and Woosa Awakening release and still no word on this, yet another class launch that Shai mains wont be able to take part in without enhancing a new weapon or relying on weapon exchange coupons. 

Are we going to get some sort of response to this soon? 

I feel you. I so much want to tag and copy my Woosa to try her out on full gear and see if she is my second main....but I can try her out cause I don't have a pen dandelion....just a shitton of Caphras and a Pen Sol

And here is where the absurdity of all this lies: they want Shai to be considered "different", so they punish a player who main's a Shai (tell me why this is a problem, PA) and as a result, they punish such players because they can't tag them for other characters.  Just a little unfair.  Even with the Jetina questline, it could take a year or more to PEN all that equipment, and newer Shai main players can't really try out different classes, as other players can by tagging them.

Not only are you unfair to the Shai, PA, but to the players who main them. 

And why, exactly?

Wake me up when this is actually answered.

This issue of shai getting fair Sol treatment is small and insignificant compared to the issue of shai actually being a complete class. 

Why does she have a -50% damage reduction on PVP damage?

Why does she only have a handful of attacks? her skill list is tiny when you compare it to any other class. 

Why is her Sol not considered an awakening, instead a "talent". And why is there no way to get this "talent" improved?

I want a GM to take responsiblity for this class, and admit that she is an experiemental dumpster fire, and that they DO have some kind of action plan to fix this mess.
