Install the Black Desert Launcher if the game doesn't start.

Install the Black Desert Launcher to start the game.

The launcher will appear if it's installed.
If it doesn't, try to run your downloaded launcher.

Install Guide

1 Run BlackDesert_Installer_NAEU.exe to install the Black Desert launcher.

2 Start the game once installation is complete.

DP should not be a nearly useless stat in pvp.

This issue was discussed during the Calpheon Ball 2022, where Jaehee explained the intentions behind the current DP mechanics, and some of the plans moving forward. 

 

Firstly, the current DP mechanics were developed to keep the gap closer between Adventurers with gear, and those without as much as possible. It is also the belief that sudden changes to the DP systems would cause the gap between these two groups to expand. 

 

While Jaehee agreed to a certain extent that the efficency of DP mechanics is low, recent additions such as the Vells heart upgrade are intended to be steady steps towards addressing the situation. He also added that some of the feedback in regards to the efficiency of DP are not just down to the actual gear, but also the balance between classes. 

 

So with these concerns understood, they will be kept in mind while fine-tuning balance and developing new items. 

 

Once again, we'd like to thank you for your feedback.

Then by this logic you need to cap EVASION to the same degree in pvp because they are impossible to hit for scuffed geared players.

Gear should matter in pvp. The whole point of BDO is grinding gear and letting tuvala timmy combo a 400dp chad is silly. The NEED to get more gear to compete is what drives people to progress, without that the game really doesn't have much else lol...

Jokes on you buddy, what next ? Would ask for removing player immunity from them ? Or even dare  ask to remove teleporting behind players? Or maybe asking to remove 100% accuracy ? Or remove players CC from them ? Or would dare to ask count them as striker so they don't break up CC limits ?

Clones are fine, just as fine and rest summons.

385DP is nothing, but yeah strikers should deal less damage if they build full eva+dp.

Altrough this is the issue of how AP brackets work, and a fix was already suggested for this, tho I doubt PA care.

the high resistance brackets should be increased, gear lvl has increased, I think new brackets will also work.

It's very balanced when a striker with 261 gives you one-combo at 401 dp and a hashasin with 200 ap gives one-combo at 360+ dp. And the gear difference is hundreds of billions.

lol imagine caring about PvP balanced in an mmo, even League of Legends cant balance perfectly and thats a game literally designed for PvP interactions and not an mmo that also has optional PvP

I wonder why they don't delete the rest of the classes if they still have 3-4 classes that they keep meta.

Delete Archer, Ranger, Sage, Tamer, Maehwa, Corsair.
