Welcome to my world. I use Blackstars and Godr to build 250-300 FS for accessories because I know it won't go ( These items are the best items to build big failstacks on in the game).

well there is no other way to build 300fs so.

Although it's questionable whether it worth to build that high stack for accesory or not, you save like one click on avarage.

Long term journey is one of the things I actually like about this game, it's just I've reached a point where there's like a 90% chance I should've gotten it by now, at least as far as probability goes, and I've lost so much money I pretty much could've bought two. I've actually clicked it one more time since this thread and it failed again putting me at 48. I have enough money I could buy two more taps based on the cost of melted outfits.

I think the most bothersome part is that after failing you know you have to go through the frustration of placing individual outfit pre-orders and waiting for them to fill, which could take several days or more to get enough cron stones to click it even once. It's just kinda annoying and makes me wish they would figure out another way to generate revenue because I'd like to just be able to click my weapon when I have the money to do it. Yeah, you can just tell me to buy vendor crons but given the disparity in price it's just a poor choice.

That or maybe there should be some form of protection that it's basically guaranteed if you've failed so many times that it's already either exceeded the raw cost or significantly more, or that the probability that it should've gone through gets so high it's entering statistical outlier territory. Like, would people really be bothered if someone who's clicked for a PEN equipment or accessory 50 or 75 times gets it guaranteed?

Don't get me wrong, I don't think the way things are set up is particularly bad as an idea. I actually think it's a great idea at least in the way that it basically has the people spending real money versus the people who aren't kinda mutually benefitting each other. I just dislike the way it plays out in the game, though I admit I don't know what they could replace it with. It's just like, wow, I failed again, and now not only do I have to earn the money again, I have to wait for each individual outfit pre-order to fill and who knows how long that'll take. Lately the pre-orders for Classic outfit boxes have been floating around roughly 30 or so. If I'm lucky enough to get one outfit box a day (at the roughly 3.33% odds per listing) it takes a week to get enough for one click, not counting the time it took to grind the 5 billion it takes to buy 7 outfit boxes.

I dunno, I'm gonna keep going with it anyway. I like this game, just got frustrated. Didn't expect the thread to even get much attention honestly.

They need a warning system if there isn't any. I think I always double check but a warning system would prevent people from rage quitting LOL

You can buy it if you want...I don't know what you're advocating for. Nobody is forcing you to enhance PEN Blackstar.

BS PEN is an item only for extremely lucky players, unless you're American and have a lot of costumes in the Market at your disposal.

EU is hard mode enhancing compared to NA. I bet most NA players and streamers that enhance wouldn't be doing so if they didn't play in NA lol

The real problem is the lack of worst case protection and it's a simple fix in fact there are a couple fixes. I know they are somewhat unappealing to pa because it might dent their revenue but it might improve player retention to offset it. 

a) a proper mercy system. Either a max number of clicks then the item will auto upgrade to next level aka tet to pen after 28 fails or remove the cap on failstacks allowing to eventually reach 100% success rate after enough really bad luck.

b) opt out system. Idea here is give players the choice to choose the average fails and then dump all the required mat into the processing window and auto upgrade. Say the expected average fail cost they want is 24 fails ok let me put in the total mats needed to cover that many fails: black stones , memory fragments etc... and forgo the rng system pay the average expect cost and auto success.
