I've also been visiting this forum specifically to see how your enhancement attampts go :)
I spent the last several months trying to enhance a TET blackstar armor to PEN, and that took an unbearably painful 24 attempts at 980 cron stones an attempt. I can absolutely imagine your compartmentalized despair at 50+ failures at the almost four times as expensive sub weapon attempts.
Velvy, it's my opinion that your ability to keep trying when it feels like the whole universe is against you is a beautiful example of humanity at its best.

It's a big surprise to me to hear that there's people who actually want to see how it goes. I'm really glad you were able to finally get your upgrade too, and I appreciate the understanding a lot.
Also what you said at the end is so absolutely sweet that I wish I had better words to express my gratitude for it. I feel a little silly to kinda repeat what you said, but it seems fitting because I believe you saying that to a stranger like me is a beautiful example of humanity at it's best too.

Just wanted to come back and update this that I did finally get it recently, after a total of 57 fails. A little late on posting about it here but been a bit busy with the holiday and spending time with family.
Also was extremely blessed afterward too, perhaps to make up for all the fails. The stacks I used were 251 for the weapon, 231 for the armor, and 211 for the helmet.
Thank you again to everyone who kept encouraging me and believing in it happening. I wish you all the best with your goals within the game and outside of it too.

I failed 45 TRI attempts in a row (godr weapon) and I stopped for now. Painful losing over 18.000 crones in the process. But hey... RNG is RNG. Sometimes you get blessed by it and sometime you're screwed for life. :D

Help. Would be a bit less frustrating if getting Cron Stones wasn't so annoying. Haven't gotten a gear upgrade in several months now and starting to lose my patience. Yeah I know you can just buy the gear but I want my name on it.

that way BDO is a bad game grinding 8h lose evry think in 2 min alle taht because name on item still B2W and that will never change, the give PEN to how the wont to and is not RNG it is just a lie..

I got all pen blackstar armor as one of my goals set for last year and it was a lot easier to do in comparison to weapons. For 2023 I plan on buying 300 bil in costumes for Cron attempts on weapons ( I need the Crons for my Debo accessories anyways) and will use the 300+ FS for it ( it's easy for me to build 300+ FS on this account). Hopefully, I'll hit my goals this year before they bring out new weapons.
P.S.
This is an analogy to enhancing in BDO
