The current enhancement system in the game is so 1900s, it is outdated, progresses backwards and could make the players not want to stay due to their afraid of enhancement unless they want to quit, try hard or test their luck with that very terrible success rate.

I still remember the day the devs decided to give a guaranteed PEN accessory questline out and it feels so good to have something to grind for.

It's time to change, please do not punish the players for just playing the game. The game is just for entertainment, there are many other ways to time gate players' progress, and make it last longer, punishing players is the worst way.

I know we now have the PEN armour guaranteed questline for Seasonal Characters, but there's only 1 guaranteed PEN accessory questline.

For the first character in the family, please, a way for the players to progress to at least, 4 PEN accessories, in a SLOWER but STEADY way, like the guaranteed PEN accessory questline... Let new players reach 281 AP at least.

Buying from Central Market = 100% upgrade success rate + bypasses the need for enhancement.  It is "like" the guaranteed PEN accessory questline, in that, you grind and eventually amass enough resources (silver) to purchase the item from CM.  Except, there is no time-gate.  No weekly.  Unlike Jetina PEN accessory.  But it'll take longer, especially for top-shelf items like PEN BS, PEN Disto, PEN Turo's, PEN Dawn's, etc.

But that is how items retain their value - by being difficult / high risk when trying to get.  If hard to get items were easy, they wouldn't be as valuable.  This is common MMORPG knowledge -- the only way items retain value is through scarcity / difficulty in getting.  I get and at the same time don't get why players want easier progress.

Like, yeah, I know you want the dopamine rush from seeing progress and feeling tangible benefit from better stats, but at the same time, you're playing an MMORPG.  IDK.  Hate me if you want, I don't come with sunshine and rainbows when people want to dumb-down / water-down the progression experience in BDO.  It's already easy, it just takes time -- don't got time?  Then MMORPG's might not be the genre of game for you.

You already have your answer (Central Market + buffed income from low end spots).  Plus, you don't even need high GS anymore unless you do uncapped node wars or GVG's, which seems to be fewer in number these days.  PVP?  AoS, capped siege, capped NW.  PVE?  Make 500+ mil an hour at low end spots.  Lifeskill anywhere with enough Mastery.

Game still too hard?  Then IDK what to tell you other than they'll eventually make progress easier as time goes on.  So stay on the catchup mechanic treadmill.  Right now, 720 GS might seem like high GS to you.  But same time next year, 720 will be average-feeling, like how 680 - 700 is average-feeling now among end-game geared players.
