Congrats everyone! This doesn't mean that we will get it but at least now we are on the radar for a discussion. Since we've reached this step I think instead of sharing memes about donkeys (funny as they may be) perhaps we can now go back to discussing how they could make it engaging and enjoyable for us?

With that said, I propose we start with the following:

1. How would one obtain a Donkuanatt? (Process, breeding, enhancements, etc)

2. What would be the skills of a Donkuanatt?

3. What benefit would the Donkuanatt bring?

4. Should this be Shai exclusive or available for all classes?

5. Donkuanatt racing maybe?

6. What type of barding would you like to see in the future?

7. How does this benefit PA to invest their time into implementing it (properly) into the game?

Welcome to stage 2 of possibly getting Donkuanatt into the game!

For one, I think that Donkeys could be very beneficial for lifeskills. While we do have Krogdalos barding, it may be beneficial to have inherit skills within the Donkuanatt. Perhaps "gatherable" trade items could be stacked inside a Donkuanatt at almost no weight capacity because while gathering, trade items are obtained pretty often. Donkeys may never be as fast as horses but it would be nice if they could be used more like a "pack mule" in a sense. This may even mean being able to glide with heavy items? There are balance issues to consider but a donkey could be quite beneficial for lifeskillers in some way and Donkuanatt might be it.

Doom: Great for speed, can double seat and split for friends.

Dine: Can run on water and on sand, possibly soon unlimited running on water

Arduanatt: Can "fly", is reasonably fast.

Donkuanatt: Lifeskill?

I believe that Donkuanatt should be open for all classes at least eventually. I would love to see a zerker race a Donkuanatt against a shai. Is this peak gaming? I think so! kekw

So this comes down to why PA should spend their time with all of this... Well, for one, they are done with horses so that means they're not doing anything with mounts probably?  They could sell more outfits for donkeys because they would have a purpose now. I would like to use the aviator barding for it, it would a perfect match! So why not Donkuanatt? Everyone likes a nice ass.

I'm only throwing ideas around and didn't think about these through. Feel free to correct me or improve on them or suggest completely different ideas. :)

Update:
What if the donkey had a skill that follows you around as you're gathering and auto-loots what you're gathering so it becomes an actual pack mule? Also what do you think of -0.5s on gathering time?

Sounds great, but are the other classes going to get a class-specific mount?

My idea is that Donkuanatt is the lifeskill mount, as we have the Krogdalo gear for him. Maybe this would be a mastery boost, gathering item drop rate %. Also i think it could use a buff in speed and some skills that horses have. 
As for classes, any class can use it in my opinion.
