Forced PVP is an old outdated Reliquary from ancient time, that doesnt fit in the 2022+ games.
Many people might not aware of this, but if you read actually MMORPG magazines, you will realise this...
Forced PVP Is more hated in video games then p2w. Many People read "Black Desert Online has PK (PlayerKill) system" and they don't even try the game, cause they already lost intrest... Forced PVP is a NOGO for the majority of players. Sooner or Later, Specialy if PearlAbyss wants to attract and KEEP new players, they have to change it...
People leave season server getting killed 1-2 times and they quit. Nice Game.
And no the Karma system is pointless. those people who are the one that Playerkill are immortal, they have nothing to fear about...
People and specialy those who are above 600 gearscore that bully new and returning players deserve temporary account restrictions. Its literally cyber-bully

You're comment contridicts itself. The solution to getting bullied online is and always has been simple, log off your computer and do something else. Don't like the experience? Stop it at anytime...
If a player is so weak mentally that they can't face temporary adversity and they crumble under *checks notes* 2 player kill deaths, then they can quit and find something else to do if they have no interest in the game.
Regardless, there is over 100 hours of content that has nothing to do with interacting with other players.
The best part of BDO is being able to do whatever you want, whenever you want. You want to go PK? Go do it. You want to gather by hand and not use tools? Go do it. You want to sail the ocean and be a pirate? Go do it. You want to be the best at horse racing? Go do it!
Your options may not be endless, but there is an overwhelming amount of content to do.

That would be a great alternative if the game did not spam " the you need to take the quest to go beyond fifty" or whatever the exact message is which makes the game unplayable.
Hmm looky here, actual feedback about the game state that has room for improvement. What a wise obvseration.

It's just a kill of a pixel char in a virtual world. That's hardly a problem.
I as a new player came here understanding the simple fact that I have the possibility to attack or get attacked by another player.

This game doesn't let us change the channel instantly.
PK death is not real PK death but toxic blocking at mobs so that they kill the player which involves losing exp and crystals.
It is worth adding that in Japan such behavior currently results in a ban. Why wasn't this introduced here?
And the forum is for expressing your opinion, and as you can see, even among forum users (who are not even 0,01% of all players) the percentage of people who want pve only channels is significant.
Most players only play the season (i.e. no pvp) or take a break every month to play Olvia (i.e. no pvp).
I know people who play BDO from the premiere and also play only on Olvia, and that says something.
Unfortunately, PA cannot understand that the profits from pve only channels would be colossally greater than what they earn today on toxic open pvp. As written by WaifuJanna: a huge number of potential customers as soon as they hear that Black Desert is an open pvp game, don't even try bdo. Life skill players also spend money sparingly because why should they support a PA that doesn't listen to them and forces them to unwanted pvp.

In full disclosure, we are currently not considering implementing a PvE-exclusive server.
By design, Black Desert aims to be enjoyed by multiple adventurers on a vast open field, which is why we consider the open field experience as one of the game's most essential features.
However, it is true that this can also be a problem if we guarantee too much freedom of it. That is why we allocate safe zones throughout the game and impose penalties for plays such as unilateral forced attacks.
However, as you suggested, there are circumstances where you get hindered by other players while you are doing life-skill content, such as horse training. Regarding this, we will think about ways to alleviate such inconveniences.

Boring mob grinding is also a waste of time without any spice.
While the forum is about saying thoughts, at the same time it's pointless to say anything when a decision was made already. It doesn't matter anymore. Sure. We can say whatever here. Nothing will change in the end. It's a waste of time.

You are acting like 600 gs is big, you leave seasons with 550gs without journals an other things. Add journals 565 gs (if they select one capotia), with guranteed pen gear they will be at 592 gs (3 weapons and 3 armors). Add in silver made from grinding they will probably be closer to 630gs following a guide. Choice got 700gs in 60 days. Make it a normal player thats around, 6 months goin by bad rng on drops.
Also no one with gear cares about fighting new players with the exception of a couple of players who are perma red which they attack everyone an anyone.
I assume your still 530 gs like you were back in 2018. Saying about naru being impossible to enhance. I remember you saying that in discord an telling everyone its not new player friendly an all of this.
Also if pking was so bad why is BDO still stable for players. If it was unstable the game wouldve died back when you first said the game would.
