Creating, maintaining, managing, and upkeeping a full PVE server will take dev time and resources.  Set aside the fact that BDO was NEVER intended to be a full PVE game, instead, it was ALWAYS designed to be a PVX sandbox (more "sandpark" nowadays, IMO).  If we set aside the cold hard truth that BDO is a PVX sandbox MMORPG -- the cold hard truth that has been backed up by dev and CM quotes MANY times -- the fact is, if a full PVE server were introduced, it would need dev time and resources.

Any unforseen problems a PVE server would introduce?  Dev time and resources.

Appeasing the complaints people that play on it will inevitibaly have?  Dev time and resources.

This takes dev time and resources away from creating content and improving the ACTUAL game of BDO -- and that is, normal, PVX channels.  EVEN ARSHA IS PVX.  Creating a very specific, very niche, and VERY different version of the game (turning a PVX MMO to, basically, a PVE one) just to appease one subset of players -- while sacrificing dev time and resources that would be used to appease PVX enjoyers and welcomers (you know, "normal" BDO players), is so beyond crooked and self-centered, that it's absolute nonsense at this point.  A CM already chimed in here.  That alone should shut down any request to make BDO a type of game it was NEVER intended to be.

Also, it just peeves me that people see this issue so black and white.  Almost like a political culture war, of sorts.

If unwanted PVP is your problem, then why is your so-called "solution" a black and white, two choice system?

Why not suggest ways to better circumvent unwanted PVP?  Things like improving the Karma System to better deter unwanted PVP?  Things like, maybe a functional policing / sheriff system, so we, the players, can handle bad-faith PVPers on our own, instead of relying on the game itself to pamper us?  Why not suggest that PA tighten their stance and better define what is harassment in the game, if you feel so hurt by unwanted PVP?

Why is your solution "JuSt DiSaBlE pVp", as if something like that won't be detrimental to the overall game experience, the quality of the experience, and the uniqueness of what makes BDO the game it is (OWPVX sandbox MMORPG)?  You guys are so near-sighted and self-absorbed, it's not even funny.

I already said everything I had to say on the topic, would just like to inform, for everyone wanting to keep the topic of a PvE server on the radar (or try to), best to do is, if you still hope enough people will upvote it and devs will implement it, create a new post. This one has been marked as "reviewed" for quite a while, meaning, there will most likely be no further actual GM/Dev action/feedback upon the topic on this post.

Where do you see a black and white solution when no one talks about completely removing open pvp from the game?

Players just want open pvp channels and pve only channels to exist, and no one is forcing pvp players to play on pve only channels so they don't affect them in any way. Pvp players also have no arguments against pve only channels and hence the ridiculousness of this topic.

PA knows very well that most players are not interested in pvp and want to play pve only channels. And we all know why PA is so defensive against their introduction.

I do not know why PA is so defensive on it, the "Vision" is a myth, as can be seen in many other aspects of the game and lack of caring for the game, but I'm genuinely curious, cause, it's not a PvE thing, PA gets defensive with a lot of player feedback on a lot of different topics.

It would at least be more constructive than ignoring answers (be it from us and EVEN FROM PA! ) and repeating the same thing over and over.

You are EXACTLY talking about removing PVX.  That, in effect, is also begging to remove open PVP, simultaneously, with a PVE only channel.

Where is the "PVP server"?  Last I checked, Arsha is PVX.  Players grind + no PVP penalty.

Normal channels are ALSO PVX.  Except there are regulations on PVP.

PVE only would be the only server 100% unlike the rest.  You're arguments are ridiculous and riddled with holes.  Like I asked, why is the only "solution" by you and the rest of the PVE only lovers who play a PVX game black and white?  Why not suggest solutiions that tackle your problems while simultaneously keeping BDO as it was intended to be (PVX)?  So mentally stunted, I can't even begin to explain how much of a mental tree-stump your arguments are.

It's been stated, on previous pages AND by the developement team, that BDO is intended to be a PVX MMORPG.  They've made concessions to appease the PVE only lovers that do not compromise this base, very core, since day 1, game concept.

How is the open world PVX core game concept that is inherent of BDO's open world gameplay a "myth"?  Every PVE only outlet is limited, whereas, the OWPVX aspect is unlimited AKA, the "real" game is on PVX channels, whereas the PVE only outlets are Olvia, Marni's, and Season, which are all limited in comparison.

Literally, this is a thread with people crying for a different version of BDO than was originally, and currently, intended.  And if that's not the biggest load of selfish, self-entitled garbage, IDK what is.  Go back to WoW, all of 'em.  Literring that filth of PVE only dreams here, the only relevenat and modern OWPVX based MMO in the market today.
