Curiosity drove her away from the festival, into a narrow alleyway. A strange, unknown voice had been faintly whispering her name. 

The voice grew louder and ultimately lead her to a strange mirror. It spread a fascinating aura, the glass shimmering and seeming to be liquid, yet solid. She heard her name being said once again, this time her being sure it had radiated from the mirror itself. With held breath she took a step closer to inspect the reflecting surface further. 

"We meet once again", the mirror spoke softly, "and your presence tells me you are excited, maybe even knowing about what is about to happen next." The voice seemed oddly familar. And then it struck her; it was the Black Spirit, disguised yet again, demanding her loyalty. And she obliged. 

She bowed before the glass, as she felt a gentle presence slowly taking over her senses. 

A bright aura now surrounding her, she suddenly felt different, stronger, yet somehow still like herself. "See, now we truly are one at last", whispered the voice, now closer yet,  maybe even from inside her head. Thrilled and empowered she lifted herself up and faced her mirror image, taking in every bit of sight of her new self. 

"Now we shall never go different paths anymore", the Black Spirit spoke with a little giggle, and as it did so, she turned around, ready to join back the Halloween festivities, not letting anyone know about what had happened. Faintly, the clocktower struck twelve o'clock, welcoming the 31st of October with it's terrific sound, echoing over the whole town.
