Extras - Background

Combat Suit info: FLN01-Azalea is Florin's contribution to the Calpheon defence efforts. Using Florin alchemists' expertise has resulted in a mobile and all-rounded Combat Armour, capable of sustained combat over long-durations. It's flexible nature also allows for both melee and ranged, occasionally the odd support, capabilities.

Pilot backgound: Bubbly and carefree are 2 unlikely traits for the Calpheon military. However Melody's natural energy balance made her the only Shai capable of operating the Azalea, with draft officers dragging her away kicking and screaming a few days later. Rumors say it was a ploy by Chief Valentine to wipe his hands of her after she spiked the herb brewers' drinks with Wing Elixirs. Slowly accepting of her new life has seen Melody gradually mature, whilst occasionally tormenting her old-friend and communications officer, Aqua.

Suit Colour Scheme: GN-001 Gundam Exia

Combat Suit info: The HS0-Azure Dragoon is the prototype model for Haso's mainline Dragoon Combat Armour. Unlike it's mass-produced counterpart, the Azure configuration sports increased durability and maneuverability for improved close-combat performance.

Pilot Info: Daughter of a disgraced Haso warlord, Radiant seeks any opportunity to redeem her family's prestige, eventually enlisting in Haso's Military Academy. Her military ambitions suffered continous setbacks, despite her efforts and strong martial arts capabilities, which almost lead her to the brink of a cliff's edge. Her fortune turned around after she rescued an academic on the way to her fatal trip, fleeing shortly after. Radiant was approached soon after with an invitation to the Dragoon program. With little left to lose, she accepted, rapidly outperforming the other applicants to become the lead prototype operator.

Suit Colour Scheme: XGF-02 Gundam Lfrith

Combat Suit Info: The Black Dragoon variant is an enhanced reconnaissance variant of the Dragoon combat suit. New sensors as well as as improved disk array prototype allow for further and more accurate information gathering, while a prototype Mirage armour system allows the Combat Armour to enter stealth mode periodically. Despite the advanced technologies, a pilot with the right skillset is required to make full use of the enhancements over the standard recon Dragoon combat suit.

Pilot Info: I-Lu was a phantom that terrorised the merchants of Port Ratt, ransacking warehouses or swiping merchandise from right under their noses.. That was until she was backstabbed by the Thieves' Guild and apprehanded. Facing a life sentence for multiple thefts , being a nuisance, swiping the prison warden's belt and spitting in his face, I-Lu was offered an alternative proposal; allowing her to use her talents in exchange for warm meals and a roof over her head...(when she was not on assignment of course)

Suit Colour Scheme: RX-80BR Black Rider

Combat Suit Info: With the multiple islands and rivers that fall under Calpheon's domain, it needed a Combat Suit was able to traverse waterbodies for rapid response. Bloodiascythe is one of the proposed prototypes under the supervision of its project supervior and eventual pilot, Reclus. Amphibious and a small footprint allows most ships to transport this suit type, and consist of enough defence manoeuvres to offset the reduced armour requirements.

Pilot Info: Opinion is incredibly divided on the genius prodigy Reclus; some tell of a quiet, aloof and reclusive individual, while previous squadmates describe an individual who indulges in blood-lust trances; be it as she hacks through her foes or interrogating for information. Regardless, her Combat Suit progression as well as her ability to navigate the Calpheon bureaucracy has her destined for greatness in Calpheon military society.

Suit Colour Scheme: Gundam Deathscythe

Combat Suit Info: The original Combat Suit secretly deployed by the Calpheon military. Built with the Valkyrie College as the design focus, the CCS-01-Conviction combines strong defensive capabilities with the power of the ranged Guncia. The Conviction was assigned to the head of the Valkyrie's Serendia division, painted red like the colour of her sister's favourite fruit. It is rumored that the pilot's nature transcends through the suit, allowing for the head Valkyrie to emit a comforting nature to villagers while striking terror into her enemies. The suit was lost when she was felled, covering the evacuation of a village from a cultist raid.

Pilot Info: Living years under her sister's shadow, Grace's world shattered after her sister, drained from fending off waves of cultist, succumbed to the might of Muskan. Retrieving her sister's Combat Suit, she acquired the mantle as the pilot of the Conviction. Obsessed with the avenging of her sister, the armour of the Conviction slowly darkened with her infactuation for vengence.
