Seriusly kid, you introduced a new way to spent our Skill points and convert them into Weight and i made use of my 39483948938 remaining points which is nice, but then i notice a new skill that cannot be obtained.

I made my research and i see that i have to go through 110. . ."YES 110 QUESTS" in order to unlock it.

I haven't even finish the Duvencrune questline, because the Story in this game is complete thrash and now you even lock game changing Combat skills into Story.

I rarely log in this game and the funny thing is that the more the game get's updated, the less i want to log in it LOL.

Imagine if u think duvrence story is trash, what would you say when ur doing that amazing magnus :D

Just you wait until you learn that a free pen Boss gear piece is also locked - along with general storage access and fast travel - behind the monumental effort of going through a pretty fun story of 110 steps. Now if only they would've locked the new skill behind a 600h grind, you'd've certainly been happier - for not having to... something or something else.

Too bad i am rolling TET Blackstar so the non sellable PEN armor your talking about is completely useless to me.

A skill is a skill, skills should not be locked behind any grind or any kind of quest.

You just had to meet the required level and skill points.

This is how the game used to work all these years, but now i guess they want to promote their story, hence why you are not even allowed to skip the cutscenes.

If i wanted good story i would play Punishing Gray Raven (which in fact i do).

And if i wanted to play a dress up game i would play Pso2 : NGS (which in fact i do).

People still complaining in forums about dyes not being permanent, yet in Pso2 you are allowed to dye your skins COMPLETELY FOR FREE.

And not that you care but from the next update you will be able to dress up as Ainz and Albedo from Overlord.

Meanwhile in BDO you have to grind for 3847384738473847 hours for Pattern shards that never seem to drop in order to craft 1 skin.

It's 50/50 for me with the skill quest hmm i havent troth of that since i enjoyed the quest but we get a V gear so for a new player it's cool and if you are an old player nad have 523509238490 chars i mean if you had the time to spend to lvl them it will be no problem to do the quest i guess

Skills have always been locked behind quests. Did you forget about succ / awa quest lines? Sure, Magnus is on another level in terms of scale but technically it's not a new decision. 

Here is the problem.

There are so many things to grind in this game in order to stay competitive from books to skill points to upgrade accessories to hearts to lightstones to infinity potions and more and more and the last thing new players or any player would love is to spent hours into grinding the storyline to unlock game changing mechanics as Skills.

No wonder why only super hardcore players play this game.

Even the smallest thing requires sh1t ton oh hours of investment in order to be obtained.

The Magnus quest chain can be done in less than 6h, if one doesn't take the time to read dialogues, watch cinematics and restart quests.

Everything is a grind for something. Complaining is pointless.

just do the quest and get the skill, I hate it too any my skill is even crap and I play awe ontop, but I still got it :/
