All classes should have a Damage Reduction sub weapon AND a Evasion sub weapon.

Nearly 5 years ago now, Pearl Abyss equalized all accuracy sub weapons to all be the same stats, at the time this was a great step up as certain classes had way better or way worse accuracy sub weapons for no real reason. This also applies now with DR/Evasion sub weapons, some classes have DR ones and others have Evasion. Realistically all classes should be able to use either if they want it for their build. If this is looking to cause balance issues with certain classes (ex. Striker/Mystic with Evasion sub weapon. That is a class issue that should be fixed not an item one).  This change would make quite a few classes stronger in more DP oriented builds (DP Succ Corsair and Shai come to mind first) and not force people to need 2 very different/expensive builds that have the exact same goal in mind. In my mind its felt very random which classes got DR or Evasion ones. Corsair/Lahn/Shai DR sub weapon? Archer/Tamer with Evasion?

I love the idea of the pure evasion offhand becoming available for other classes. This would open the door to evasion builds on more classes. I also agree that if this creates a problem with too much evasion on specific classes (most people are thinking gauntlets), that those classes should be addressed. Gate keeping these offhands to specific classes hurts more classes than it helps.

dont make me regret strikers mystic getting evasion offhand. that class 1 combos people with like 200 ap or less

Agreed, every class should be able to run a pure evasion or pure dr offhand for whatever build they'd like to make. Hopefully the devs see this and remember how they made accuracy offhands available to all classes and then do the same for evasion and dr offhands. After that, specific class tweaks can be made if things prove to be too strong on certain classes.

Yeah they could just merge the items, so there will be one of each that can be used by any class.

I would  like it even more, if there were 2 new boss weapons available. One Dr and one Eva. Green Offhands cant be infused with a Garmoths heart and thats leads to less special attack evasion on classes using those green offhands (like all DP players). Or make it at least so that green weapons can be infused with Garmoth.

I'm praying that they actually do something about the green offhands and  that this goes to the feedback board. They have been overall useless for the past many years, other than the accuracy offhand in rare use-cases. 

I also would want them to make all of these more powerful as well.

You know they called sub-weapon, they not supposed to be an defensive item in the first place. It's a relic of the past that you can even abuse the green/white ones for that.

But if you add proper defensive weapons, then also add boss armors with AP on them...

They are useless, just like every other item apart from boss, BS and FG, and for a very good reason, that is artisans and crons. You don't use cash shop "convenience" to enchance them hence there is no reason for them to be viable. This is unlikely to change, they are way too cheap to make them worth more than a niche. Like those accuracy offhands cost like 40k silver each lol

I personally would much prefer them simply make Evasion/DR/Accuracy Boss weapons.

We already have Nouver for full AP, it would just complete the set.
