Many of bdo community cant handle seeing RNG enhancement fails over and over specially when you grind for 6 months and lose all that in 5 mintues.
Pen Roulette Your Gear before Your Quit is popular. we can fix it by making tri-Pen gear grindable/craftable with hardwork grind and gradually increasing the stats of ur weapon. 
Many idea from the community can flourish this Like for example :
is by infusing your tet to pen weapon with Boss gear mats (Boss aura material ) + special stones drops from all 260ap grind spots not just high end + lvling certain alchemy stones to craft it to help making the pen weapon +  lifeskill items like witch delicacy + etc.
this gives incentive to players to do lifeskill +making duo/tri/tet weapons +do world bosses more + participation in dead content like dungeons/group content.

No need to Gamble Your Gear knowing Your time effort means nothing at the end it's all about RNG luck.

Caphras Stones do exactly what you describe.  You only need thousands of them.  I would like it if they dropped from bosses, but you can get them from gathering, and grinding and can craft them from Ancient Spirit dust.  Still, takes a year to PEN one item..............

So, keep increasing the amount of and where Caphras Stones drop?

TET- Pen  = requires 11189 caphra  if counted 3m for 1 caphra thats 33.5b for pen dim tree ! which is high rather buy the fallen god instead.
but the idea behind it to limit gambling/RNG and increase participation to other contents.
also you apply same idea to Accessories on how to pen them. with caphra you cant. 

Caphras stones are dead since their introduction because total cost of using them from tet to pen is twice the price of a pen for an item in a market.

More importantly: you can't use them for black star, fallen god and accessories.

Their only use is to increase the stats of boss pen items.

The average player disappears from BDO after a month for two reasons:

1. No guaranteed item enchant, i.e. no progress.

2. Unwanted, unbalanced, toxic open pvp.

I would like to see on Devour that you can use spare low end game Advice of Valks. Maybe a 10 valks to 1 enhance chance ratio. 

nothing makes people quit like failing enhancements for even months and then some scrub hammering the pen blackstar or tet wailing fg  on 110 stack :D :D :D :D

I never enhance anything myself because the System is, lets just say bad. 

+1 to changes in this regard but i know its a known topic in this community anways. 

Why dont they overhaul it already? ( ye i know costume-cron stones..., but they could make up for it by other stuff)

You only need to grind around 15-20 years to buy 3 pen black star, 2 (for now because there will be 4) pen fallen god and 6 pen accessories.

And then another 10 years for all pen manos tools, manos clothes and manos accessories.

I'm afraid I won't live to see the day when I have it all.
