I'm trying to find anywhere in your post where you actually contribute to the conversation or pertain to the main topic.

I'm kidding, of course your post doesn't contain any of that ;)

You seem very difficult to please

DFS cancerous for sole fact that only 10% of the players even respect the lose or being told no. 90% of the time you'll be grinding someone comes into your rotation an ask for a duel you'll agree an if you kill them they than decide to just grind over you or try get the mobs to kill you. Which leaves the question why even ask for the duel to begin with if your just going to resort to griefing if the person declined it or you lose? DFS is just the polite way to say "Leave or I'm going to grief you." That is what DFS stands for an it why I instantly block anyone who ask me to DFS an ask my GM for guild protection if they flare me. There only two ways someone having my spot if they don't care about going -1,000,000 for it or I give it to them willingly. Which in my case I only grind 1-3 hours at a time usually only enough to burn 2-3 days of again fever so no I don't grind a spot for 12+ hours a day.

Since you are a toxic griefer you certainly don't belong to this topic. However you insist on polluting it with your crap.

Do you suffer from having double standards issues on top of your usual dodging when you get caught red handed ?

How does Turos not qualify? You make over 150m an hour there easily and thats with low trash. Sycraia is not the same gear requirement as stars end, you can do Stars end with 300dp where in sycraia you need atleast 330 to be passible.

Choice has done numerous videos on the comparison and said SE will make more on average but sycraia will have the best steady income. I havent done SE in over a year outside of maybe an hour here or there. You can go 10 hours without getting a disto vs a steady income at any other spot. Thornwood makes just as much as SE as well if you include the scrolls that drop regularly there. And even then, I dont quite understand the argument. SE has a CHANCE to make more money than some other spots, but if you add in how contested it is and the droprate is abysmal I would hardly even consider it worth doing.

The main issue with SE is that its disirable to high and low players and it's the only spot like it. But there are other spots. Also the reason distos have hit 300m is because most geared players are doing something else. Also Sycraia hasnt been as popular because of needing a key to get in, but now with sage it's basically a nonissue if you have a free tag.

Notice my excellent choice of words.  I already answered your question before you asked it.

"Sycraia was already mentioned and is one of the only true competitors to Star's End that has nearly the same requirements."

You could have a petty squabble over the definition of "nearly the same", but it's generally understood that these are competitive and generally equal spots.  Both in gear requirement and silver/hr.  Due to additional CC's and area there is a consenus that more DP would be required for Sycr.  However, it is within reason while others spots are not.  Turos, Ash Forest, all Elvia Spots, Some of Odrax and other areas generally don't qualify as their gear score requirements may be even further away.

In the end it's back to the same common conclusion.  It's generally been Star's End and Syc for the majority of end game players.  That's only recently now changing as Elvia may be viable.

Side Note: All the additional requirements to areas has been quite a failure.  It's refreshing to be able to access so many new areas quickly in the Elvia Region.  It's nice to see they have different mechanics and events as well.

DFS can mean more than one thing.

The good sport / "gentleman's" version = "We both know we have limited time in a game with limited resources.  Inseatd of beating each other repeatedly, which could take hours, let us both agree to a cordial duel to see who gets the spot.  This gets rid of stress, and wasted time."

The "I'm strong and I know it" spot taker = "I am 700 GS, PvP a lot, play a good PvP class and can roll anyone here and I know it.  I want this spot.  But instead of wasting time for it, I'll just duel this person to get rid of them."

The "I'll ask for DFS, but no matter the outcome, I'm not leaving this spot" = toxic.  There's likely more examples.

Bottom line is we play a sandbox-y MMO, so players decide how some things work.  DFS is a community created thing to determine who gets the spot.  We are not KR.  We're NA/EU - the region whose ancestor's literally stole lands from other nations though conquest.  Think Native Americans, places in Europe, Hawai'i, etc.  But you're mad that someone wants to take something from you?  Interesting.

Conquest flows through our viens, we literally live on lands that were not originally of our ancestors, our ancestors literally came from another rotation into someone else's rotation and PK'd that person into submission, so why is it hard to fathom that in the West, people will want to take over spots from others rather than wait their turn?  It's sandbox-y MMO.  Players decide things (not all things, but DFS, yes).  KR rather wait their turn.  NA/EU rather take spots away.  What is the big deal?  Taking important things away from other people literally birthed the nations in which we live, their blood flows thorugh our viens, and it shows.

Once again you offer no solution and advocate for a forced toxic gaming experience.  There isn't even any point to discussing the "gentleman's version".  There is no debate over it and it's fully understood.  The ONLY situations being discussed are the ones you yourself deem as toxic.

Another thread appeared again about the racism, spam, and filth being spammed in chat.  That IS the BDO community.  That isn't a single player or small subset.  That is a pretty large amount of the player base.  People that want to just say or act as toxic as possible.

And YOU want to ENABLE them.

YOU want to EMPOWER them.

YOU want to give them the tools to drastically effect other's gaming experience.

If someone wants to bully me off a spot, they can take the karma hit. Anyone who comes spamming their idiotic DuAl FuR SpoET?!?!?!?! I just block them and keep grinding.

That is not so easy to deal with on a larger scale.  Especially in higher level zones.  A single player grinding the Elvia area at night with appropriate gear may have problems with confronted with other players trying to mob feed them.  Additionally, it doesn't necessary have to be 1v1.  If several players attempt to mob feed someone in these regions it can be very difficult to defend against.

In addition your opponets can have alternate gear for that specific task.  With no valuable gems and extremely high defenses.  Additionally, when fighting multiple opponents not getting CC'd for many classes is virtually impossible.

So think twice before you think the solution is to just act tough.
