In his defense he can't really debate with others and that is his enjoyment.  If you see all of his interactions you will see it's consistently the same thing with everyone.

It's probably not going to be helpful to the subset of people who'd prefer a solution to "DFS" without PvP at all, but in my own experience i've got the best results by grinding on Arsha, and only on Arsha.  

Here's my rationale: 

1 - when entering Arsha, I am fully aware that there is no system whatsoever in place to even offer a pretense of protection from interference & conflict. I go in with expectations that this is about to be a savage lawless mess. With such low expectations, I cannot be disappointed. This results in a more "steady" emotional experience regardless of what happens because I'm already expecting the worst and only daring to hope for the best.   

2 - when grinding in Arsha, no one asks "DFS?". No one declares war over somebody grinding in the same spot. People are just always flagged at all times. If you see a white square on minimap, you either fight or flee, everything becomes that simple. All nuance is gone, it's just fight or flight. Even if i lose a crystal dying to monsters during a pvp fight, i have trouble blaming my opponent - I chose to play on Arsha so I'm like, "yeah what did I expect, this is my own fault here" so it doesnt even feel bad.    

3 - surprisingly, Arsha has more free rotations than on normal servers, probably because of how many normal players fear Arsha. I hope i'm not ruining it for myself by sharing this information but by and large it is Extremely true. Arsha is frequently downright peaceful, *especially* during a droprate buff event like this month where droprate is equal on all servers.   

4 - in my own anecdotal experience, people on Arsha are more diplomatic, calm, and graceful by far than people on normal servers. People on normal servers go mute and ignore each other, or they spew toxicity - they take pleasure in griefing each other and getting revenge and they all feel entitled to the spot they are in and will fight tooth and nail over any perceived slight. In all my experience on Arsha, people tend to just roam around from spot to spot both grinding and looking for fun fights and then when you lose a fight you whisper them and say "nice you got me GG" or whatever, and then they're all friendly, respond to you, duel back and forth a while, and move on. People logging into Arsha seem already inclined to accept "might makes right" and just enjoy whatever happens. Few people on Arsha are salty because everyone is there expecting PvP anyway - I mean really how can you go on Arsha and then get salty when you get attacked? It's Arsha, that's exactly what's supposed to happen, no shock/surprise there. I think because of this, people on Arsha aren't even fighting to "grief" people and people aren't getting super salty about spot-taken drama. In fact, griefers probably have trouble playing on Arsha because true griefers are a sadistic group of people, and there'd be no fun in it for them if their victims aren't feeling salty and victimized, so the sadist griefer just cannot achieve the satisfaction they desire on Arsha, because everyone on Arsha is "on the level" with expectations to begin with. 

If anything, we need more Arsha servers, and with no droprate buff either.

Honestly, it could be very possible that you're just being overly-dramatic. Obviously, that's what the GM thought since they brushed it off as nothing.

Way more prodcutive than crying about something on the forums that has been the way it is for 4 years.
