Family Name: Meatballia
Region (NA/EU): EU
Suggestion/Comments: The new outfits need a bit more work to deserve the "premium" tag.

First time to notice a major blunder was with the female Oblivion cloak. Did you guys tried sitting with it visible? And? Does it look normal or natural? Trust me, it does not.

Then we've got the Exclaire outfit and I started thinking that maybe some people never saw chains in real life. To make matters worse, we've had loading screen focusing the horrible physics of the Exclaire's cape for weeks on end.

And now we have Secrua... Could've been nice to have a guardian outfit that has more than a swimsuit. But nope! PA had to design another costume with pieces that don't animate properly. That... thing that covers the character's rear - 'cause I don't know how to call it - moving like a frozen towel, even if it's clearly made of threads of metal... and the pony tail that is just a stiff, thick rope.

So please, spend more time on the new outfits' physics. Especially if you have no intention of fixing them afterwards. I doubt it's that difficult... since we have so many great outfits from years past.

Thanks!

Yes please! For $22 - $33 each, you would expect something above the rest but sometimes it's just not great. The physics may be problematic and difficult to fix but the textures could be improved. It would be nice to see old costumes have HD upgrades or even 4K textures! Oh gosh, I just imagined many houses burning down trying to render 4k textures for this game. hahaha!

I spent a lot of money on a limited edition costume for Shai. I think it was around $40 or $50 for it. I wanted it because you could wear blackstar with it. But two weeks later they removed the weapon! So you can't walk around with blackstar. So I never wore the costume since. Maybe give us more options for toggling things like weapon?

And the capes for the Marnist outfit and Snowflake suit don't move gracefully with the characters as they run.  They sort of hang down, as the characters' arms phase through them......................  OH, they're holographic!  Ok, cool idea, but a little too sci-fi for this game...

Yes please! I browsed through some of them and the new ones have issues that old ones didn't.

Example: New outfit - Musa - Goldscale Dragon,

Issue: The cloth falling on legs doesn't detect legs collision anymore, it just goes through the whole leg. Also why add spikes decoration on chest knowing that musa has animation that either crosses his arms together or put him overall "closed" arms position? Just why add more visually pain issues to outfits?

-

----

Example of the old outfits NOT having any kind of collision issues, especially on legs area. So we have proof that proper collision does exist, but for some reason PA decided to charge more on costumes and put less effort.

----

Also as a bonus for today's new outfit, behold the beautiful long ponytail that u won't see anyway when fighting, because half of it will dissapear in character's shoulder.

So, yeah. I can cleary see as well that effort put in costumes in terms of physics seem to be completely forgotten on most of them these days. While shiny textures might seem nice for the eye, the textures going through the character in 2022 game that heavily promotes fashion is just out of place, completly. Please, i would rather have ONE costume released per month, but with actually no clipping and pleasant physics (not just boobs one).

I went ahead and supported the game with the Oblivion bundle. Was so happy that my guardian will finally be fully dressed. Then the "cape has a boner" problem occurred.
Got Exclaire outfit too, with that lolipop of sword, only to be daily tortured by the cloth-like chains floating in the air.

Now I was cautiously excited by Secrua... Alas, chains are still not feeling like metal at all and hair is stiff as if coated with multiple layers of loopy tree sap.

I like the fact that multiple characters have access to a given outfit, but I just can't get myself to spend the pearls on clothing that only looks good if the character is standing still, at attention, in a screenshot. And I can't buy the outfit and then just proceed to hide more than half of it 'cause it scratches my retina...

The salanar outfit on shai also clips. The cape collides in rather weird ways with the instruments, but the issue is definitely not as noticeable as Goldscale or Secrua.

Secrua is clipping with hands and hair, you can see it from the official video. It's kinda embarrassing

A lot of the newer outfits are. They're rushing them out, making show that, for female outifts, the breasts are revealed and bounce properly, regardless of the material (sometimes) covering them (okay, maybe not for Ossa, but that's the exception) :D

It's both somewhat insulting (to ask a bucket of pearls for the "premium" outfits) and demoralizing, as sometimes the overall aesthetics are alright, but the finished product just doesn't do justice to the concept art.

I don't know if the people in charge with rigging and animating the outfits simply don't have time to do it properly or if... such things as checking for clipping and testing animations have long since become a fleeting afterthought.

Another rushed outfit, with barely an afterthought given to rigging and animating it properly... Game content being buggy and a bit rushed is one thing, but even the things that we'd actually have to pay for are? Why? No time to check stuff? Or just lost passion?

Good thing it doesn't have a cape, I guess, or it would've went all over the place while sitting or riding. :/

PS: what's with the diapers? Not enough material for a longer dress/skirt/thingie?

If the designers and programmers are tired and worn-out from years of excellent work, give them a vacation and hire fresh talent!  If there's not enough developers, hire more!  If the imagination team is suffering from similar problems, hire!  Spend green to make green.  A tried and true philosophy.  Trying to trim fat off a lean budget?  Cuts into the meat, my friends, and poor quality products are the result.

PA, it seems there are some issues here.  I don't know what they are, but either your team(s) is/are blind, or they just don't care.  Or, maybe you think we don't care.  We do.  We were dazzled by how beautiful this game is, but slowly becoming... was.  We notice bad physics and design that seems to be copy/paste.  Anyone notice that Lahn's are all the same?  We desire creativity within the realm of reason, and options.  Please deliver.

Many thanks!
