Fishing Mini Game Re-Design / same issue as horse taming
I submit that the fishing mini game is anti-disabled!
Many players are dyslexic and cannot type a long list of letters you present.
Dyslexia is a specific learning disability that is neurobiological in origin.
It is characterized by difficulties with accurate and/or fluent word recognition and by poor spelling and decoding abilities.
Dyslexia is also very common, affecting 20 percent of the population and representing 80– 90 percent of all those with learning disabilities.
Please help the disabled to enjoy ALL the features of your game that abled players enjoy right now.
Cheers from NA!
I think just give more time for the minigame, with bigger sign and a little more separate, and make like 1 arrow for green, 3 for blue, 5 for yellow and 7 for orange item& fish

The fishing minigame also offers directional arrows in addition to the letters presented, those should not be problematic for dyslexic people unless i am mistaken?
I would also like to point out that, while I understand that people with disabilities may struggle with certain things, I dont think that in a videogame specifically everything should be adjusted in ways that make it suitable to absolutely everyone.
There are people that have missing limbs or that have other disabilities that might impair their ability to move to the point of them being severely handicapped in their ability to use input devices like mice or keyboards or controllers, yet I dont think that making every class perfectly playable by holding down a single button for example would be a good thing to do even if it meant that alot of those people I mentioned would then be able to somewhat efficiently play them despite their disability.
Inclusion and accessibility are important, but skillchecks like those in the fishing minigame for example or more complex inputs while playing a class is part of the challenge a videogame presents for the player and is part of what makes it enjoyable / engaging aswell as differentiating players from one another. If you would take all of that away you would make it more accessible, which is great in theory, but it would sadly end up making the game itself worse overall.

First to address the dyslexia question. You are mistaken. Dyslexia encompasses symbols and letters and numbers and words... It is neurobiological, not psychological.
Second, I totally agree with you. Let us not dumb down the game so far it becomes another WoW.
Third, that is exactly what they just did to horse taming yesterday.
