Black Desert will begin in a moment.

Install the Black Desert Launcher if the game doesn't start.

Install the Black Desert Launcher to start the game.

The launcher will appear if it's installed.
If it doesn't, try to run your downloaded launcher.

Install Guide

1 Run BlackDesert_Installer_NAEU.exe to install the Black Desert launcher.

2 Start the game once installation is complete.

Roguelike Solo Dungeon

The idea is to have a roguelike Solo Dungeon:

The principle is simple. A dungeon with several levels and waves of enemies.

The limit of 10 monsters max touched is removed for this dungeon. For example, the more you do it, the more you get special potions that can only be used in this dungeon.

At each level you get talents for each level of the dungeon, which are obviously only valid in this dungeon. The potions would be for example usable at each following run.

They could have as effect to aoe the zone and to kill all the mobs, another one could give us a boost of regen, another one could give us a boost of damages and finally another one could reduce the CD of our skills.

More we do the dungeon more we have potion for the following runs.

All this combined with rare loot at each level obtainable once a week.

I'm sure it would give a great interest to the game, to build up your GS and also to try hard this part to try to reach the last level every week!

I think that with this content in the game instead of crappy puzzles would be so much better !!!

We all know very well that this kind of idea will never go to the developer but I would like to have your opinion and don't hesitate to give your ideas if they are better than this one.

Yeah, I think "waves of enemies" would definitely be something new and refreshing for BDO. Never had them before, nor outside a dungeon, nor inside it... </sarcasm>.

While some of the puzzles in Atoraxxion have been designed on the false asumption that everyone will love running them each time they create a new character, it was mentioned during Calpheon Ball that it will no longer be the case soon. Let's also remember that "crappy puzzles" are exclusive to the story, not to the dungeon run. The only - otherwise quite annoying - one that was mandatory was fixed with an angler 2 weeks ago.

We had waves of enemies. We had rewards based on your performance. You people didn't like those places. They're gone now. Both because not enough trash per hour and because "crappy mechanics".

I'm guessing the catch-phrase in your proposal is "solo dungeon". Mechanics seem just as boring or as fun as grinding Murrowak's. With weekly rewards (btw, why weekly? if the place is fun and rewarding enough, having it on a week-long cooldown will feel... bad).

A couple more things: 1) No matter how fun the content is, people will compare it against the best silver grinding spot and, if it fails to live up to that, call it DoA. 2)  You have potentially good dungeons in the game (cus they need some fine tuning), that can be speed-cleared on 2 difficulties, with decent rewards, but you can't see past the questline somehow. 

So yeah, it's either the questline that puts you off, the fact that you can't just faceroll the keyboard, the need to team up (pfft! teaming up in an mmo is so old fashion!)... or all of the above.

Oh, yeah! You have a solo dungeon, with no crappy puzzles. How do you like it? You have to work to unlock more stuff in it too. Pretty much everything you suggested, only you bring your own gear.

Great idea. Maybe even make a variant for group so you can bring some guildies and have some fun doing some wacky stuff.

But maybe go further than just waves of enemies or big boss~ make it interesting, make it spicy! (no puzzles plz, make it combat related, but interesting, not just wack the mobs until they die).

Any added variety different than running in circles and killing brainless mobs would be a welcome addition pve wise if done well pepelaugh.
