I would like to see the following added to gathering:

"get all".

Basically, it would apply ALL possible gathering actions on one target.

To be able to do it you would need:

- a high enough level at gathering - master or something around there

- Liara's toolbag, with all slots filled with tools of the same type, i.e. all would have to be magical, or demirar, etc etc

Then, let's say you kill a sheep, you would gather the blood AND the skin AND the meat.

Because, if you shoot a deer in RL and skin it the meat does not suddenly disappear, either...

And if you tap a tree for sap you can still cut it down for timber after...

what you just described, is already true for hunting lifeskill, so for gathers from animals just use matchlock, as for Tree gathering, it would be the only gatherable resource to benfit from this idea, as for every instance of pickaxe, and hoe gathering, those are the only tool you can use for those resources

are you saying when you kill an animal with the matchlock instead of your normal weapon you pick up meat AND blood AND skin?

You know, I wish that when you gather stuff, you don't have to press R to collect all resources again. Just make it Press R once and move to the next point. I hate to press R and R again to collect!! It's annoying beyond HELL!!

I never saw that personnaly... I'll make that experience tonight but I don't think so. I'll keep u up.

Edit: effectively, you cant. I mean you can but shooting with your matchlock a mob that would usually be killed with your classic weapons will take you so long that you're gonna sleep before the end...

Only <wild> tagged animals you can only damage with hunting matchlocks. But in hunting you are pretty much limited to shooting rhinos for xp, wolves and to a lesser extent lions for money.

So basically for your regular gathering jobs like the yaks in that valley in drieghan, or pigs near calpheon or the sheep on goat mountain my idea would in fact be a benefit after all...
