It dont have to be, but that's how PA "manage" their game. just a game not made to be played in a MP situation ( or if MP situation mainly toxic interaction because forced pvp & grind spot that doesnt fit well MP situation )

( or if played in group, its just ... well you have ppl name on the side of your screen but in the end of the day nothing change and everyone still play like if there were alone. You can clearly see that with whatever world boss fight, others players are just there for additionnal DPS, but there is no "player play together" )

Yet, apparently they spoke about some sort of incoming "open to everyone dungeon" that would be played in group.. so, maybe the first "group content" in BDO. But as its PA lets be prudent and see how its really is.

True, the older players can have some fond memories of those times, thus having a different opinion about BDO and groups.

It used to work really fine, without having to make spots for 2, 3, 5 players specifically. 

Perhaps we can inspire the DevOps of BDO with some creative group content.. what are your thoughts? 

I mean, no copy paste dungeons from other mmo's, but something new and different that has never been done?

I've been playing MMOs for over 20 years. done the hardest content in multiple games. Why don't you come up with some ideas, and I'll give you multiple reasons why they are bad ideas.

Here's some basics.

If it can be exploited, it will.

If you can get griefed, you will.

If the rewards are too good, all other content will die.

If the rewwards aren't good enough, no one will bother.

If it's too hard, noobs will cry.

If it's too easy, veterans will cry.

If you get something unique for it, most will never do it because they'll get bullied off.

If it's instanced, it will kill the world.

So let's hear your "great" idea.

Yep!  Pirates was also pretty welcoming to players of many ranges of gear score as well.  Whether you're super geared, average, or low geared (well, not too low, obviously), all could find a place in Pirate Island grind rotations.  Strong players and average can choose to either group in main rotation or go solo into jungle rotation (the best solo rotation on Pirates) or any other solo rotation, like the cliff rotation or beach.  Lower geared players, or those trying to catch up, could comfortably grind in a 5 man party in main rotation.

There's no grind spot remotely close to this in current BDO.  Trees are for leechers, who don't actually grind, or for those with the appropriate gear.  Also in Trees (Mirumok Ruins), it's a mostly group grind zone, people do not usually solo Trees unless they have the gear -- in which case, most will choose other spots because Trees is not lucrative, only reason to solo there is for EXP when you don't find a group, granted, you have the gear.  No other reason other than EXP to solo grind Trees over other spots.

I wish the game would introduce more spots like Pirate Island, in it's general premise of being a high-end grind zone that's both a group grind zone and a solo grind zone, with gear requirements attainable by the majority of the active playerbase.  Reasons being -- inclusivity, diversity, accessibility, and fostering to both group minded players and solo alike.

Seems you didn't read my post I clearly said I'm not reading the comments of someone motivated by spite an zero logic.

The level of toxicity in these forums is great its hilarious to say the least. You got users saying they'll blindly disagree with anything another user say no matter what it is. Others dismissing everything someone says callimg them a b***. People following other users around like lost puppies seeking attention just to shit post them and nothing else. The level of toxicity in these forums matches the level of toxicity in game perfectly. Great Job PA you really got a gold quality community here. It actually making me die of laughter from the level of toxicity I'm seeing. If it gets any worse I'd say what happened at the U.S capital is tame compared to the anger and hate displayed in these threads.

I know this is derailing but I haven't laughed this hard in a while it too funny seeing these forums deteriorate so quickly in only 2 months of them being open. I can't wait to see how bad this gets in another 2 months. People hoped that things would change now that PA took over publishing rights and yes they changed but definitly not for the better nope not at all for the better.

Ironic that the only person insulting anyone is the one crying about toxicity.
