due to windows 10 being the crap that it is us as linux users want to play bdo too make linux support plz
the game itself can run in Linux, EAC (the anti-cheat) cannot.
the only thing you can do is do a PCI passthrough
I had heard there may be a possibility through Steam, Geforce Now, or Stadia; can anyone confirm success of those environments on Linux?
I really don't want to use Windows 11, but Windows 10 will ultimately be phased out/Microsoft dropping support in a year or two.
Hi,
https://www.theverge.com/2021/9/23/22690670/epic-eac-anti-cheat-linux-valve-steam-deck-support-games
how can I install BDO on linux, please ?
I think it can be done now.
But how ?
According to that article, developers still need to update their games before this will work on Linux. Sadly that means we have to rely on PA to do something about it.

Well there is always an option to get Windows 10 LTSB ... for newly released 21H2 you can have extended support up untill 2032. Legal copy costs around 80$ per months, but there are other ways xD

Not like dropping support would mean anything.

Exactly, Microsoft will just stop providing security fixes to the most exposed OS on the planet, nothing to worry about.
