I believe the OP is talking about only GeForce Now. Which is a cloud gaming service provider by Nvidia that apparently does not currently work. However, this does not affect regular steam users at all
Ah interesting, OP edited the original post which was initially referencing different platforms (Steam/PC) and not just geforce experience. I wonder, is it nvidia the ones at fault then since they're the ones who are supposed to host the game? I don't know much about it. I had it for free for a year after buying my videocard and only used it once lol.
Is there at least a way to switch from the steam client to PA client? it is certain that we cannot use the cloud because of the client. It's not the first time that steam and GeforceNow go into conflict over something. Let us switch accounts!
No, you cannot change platforms, sadly
For reference, Elder Scrolls Online went off from Geforce Now and people are able to transfer to the PC client. Activision also left the platform. The rumor is nvidia wanted more for less but then again both Zenimax and Activision are that way too, so it's hard to tell who's the one at fault they just blame each other. But either way, BDO isn't running and maybe someone missed an e-mail for renewing the service lol. It's weird that you can't just use the PC or Steam client if you already are forced to own a copy. It's bad enough that you rent software but now you have to buy to rent and then rent a platform to play it. So weird.
it's fixed ;)
