The only reason that Marni Instances where implented was due to the problems that are created by poor game design that can not handle over crowding.  Thus a band aid was applied and not a real fix.  The band aid was to allow players a single hour per day to help them make proper use of loot scrolls and get some interupted time.

For many players this works because simply because they don't spend much time playing the game and this is sufficient.  They simply don't care to play anything beyond that and good for them.

However, this does not fix the broken game design that created this problem in the first place.  Nor does it address the poor quality work and lack of effort from Pearl Abyss.  It doesn't address fundamental problems either such as the ideology that some classes should just be terribly unbalanced at defending spots.

The reality is that virtually no one wants this situation.  Pearl Abyss is aware of this.  We know this because that is the entire reason private instances where created in the first place.

There is no other viable solution to this problem.  The issue from Day 1 until current date have not improved in any update.  If anything it only get worse.

What actually happens in these games is far different from what developers simply IMAGINE how it will work.  Reality does NOT match the developers vision or concepts.  In reality things got so bad that in various regions Pearl Abyss will BAN players for activity like mob feeding.  A completely different reality from their belief that people will just compete fairly in the game environment let alone enjoy it.

The reality is Pearl Abyss developers have always been wrong about this entire issue and have been forced for YEARS to make changes that do not fit their own ideology.

The reason for all these changes is simple.

The customers in mass DO NOT WANT this environment.  No matter how many forum posters try to claim "yes they do" their words don't matter as the reality takes presedence over everything.

For example someone supporting pvp might claim they want competition and more PVP.  The reality is that PVP was disabled for world bosses because the overwhelming majority of customers didn't want that.  Thus the customer base superceded all the indivuals claiming it's what they wanted.

Instead, I think that what we see in BDO currently, is what players are asking for.

If Devs made a mistake by targeting the wrong audience, the game would already be totally different. 

Ps : don't spread fallacies about mob feeding, in Japan a potential ban can be applied after they carefully check the situation. That's nothing more than punishing griefing, but it's not like you're being banned as soon as you use it. It's more subtle than that. 

Correction in your title please:

Marni instances do NOT need to be extended -> YOU want them to be extended.

"Give them an inch, they want the yard..."

Marni instances are already a great answer to pvp and dfs conflicts in the main grind zones.

PA is already adapting there by giving us solutions to avoid pvp whilst it's still a pvp game...................

I don't see it getting worse personnaly, so I guess you talk for yourself more than for the crowd.

I wasn't expecting anything anyway and the Marni instances came as a surprise for me, a good one.

I mean I'm playing BDO, so I accept it as it is. And when they add some good stuff like thoses instances, I take it as it is!

How come people are never happy, even though they did choose the game they're playing? 😓

Marni is a great addition to ensure a steady progress to everyone, and it does not impact owpvp too much. Every side had to make a step toward the other, this is done now. 

It is so rare that I agree with you @Sadalsuud that I have to mention it!

If your suggestion is to expand upon Marni instances, then perhaps you should make a postive suggestion on how you think this should be implemented.

2h Marni! I dont even grind more than 1h/day, but just in case id like to have it  :)

It's like asking for an offline game, like a solo game.

Personnaly, 1h is already great... and I don't even use it! I like playing BDO because it's a MMO -> Massive Multiplayer Online, so not a solo game.

But that's me...

ppl have different tastes, for me MMO died by terrible dsync and bad servers.

All I care bout in BDO getting my account forward, just got the compass, farming vell upgrade rn (all self-found I might add) whenever I see a white dot on the map, I don't like it.

MP is all I need from "MMO".
